In Paris, there is "the Mecca" of literary and artistic life named «Café de Flore». Once, this café was the designated rendez-vous place of existentialists, such as Jean-Paul Sartre. Still today, prevails this groovy and liberty atmosphere. We had not planned to recreate "Le Flore" in this place, so we have created «Le Petit Flore». Just like in Paris, we do our utmost to welcome you in a groovy atmosphere and offer you the quality you are seeking for.
Café Le Petit Flore offers a charming, warm ambiance that evokes a Parisian cafe and is complemented by friendly, attentive service. The menu covers brunch, lunch and dinner with fresh salads, tartares, seafood and hearty plates that guests describe as flavorful and generously portioned. Discovered a gem on Fleury Street during the MTLàTable event. Booked a table for brunch to get a feel for the restaurant prior making a dinner reservation. The decor was both charming & inviting, instantly reminding me of a café in Paris.
The place was fully packed as I stepped into the restaurant, I came face to face with a waitress who was busily running food, carrying plates in both hands & she managed to nod & smile at me, adding a personal touch to the welcoming atmosphere. A powerful positive greeting that many restaurateurs tend to omit nowadays.
Despite the rush, the hostess/waitress/owner took the time to explain the event menu to us, even sharing a few laughs. The food was nothing short of delightful. However, I expected a bit more from the Americano coffee, it was decent but lacked the richness I was hoping for. Overall, it combined excellent food with a friendly atmosphere. It was the perfect start to what promises to be many future visits.
Définitivement mon restaurant préféré ❤?❤?. Plats toujours délicieux. Très bon menu qui évolue régulièrement. Super bon accueil, service & cuisine. Plus que recommandé pour prendre le temps de profiter d'un excellent repas, avec un choix de plats bien pensés. Propriétaire adorable ❤? & très investie. Sur la rue Fleury, bien agréable, & proche du Parc Ahuntsic.

L'atmosphère est très chaleureuse. Le service est im-pec-ca-ble: attentionné, on pourrait presque dire "stylé". & le burger au saumon assez savoureux, les frites réussies. Bonne bière du quartier (Silo). Avec un tel souci du détail, on voit pourquoi il s'agit d'une institution prisée de la rue Fleury.
Très bon service, les serveurs sont très aimables & aux petits soins, nous avons réservé au dernier moment pour le souper, le cadre est sympa, une belle place sur la rue Fleury E. Une carte assez fournie, un tartare de boeuf exquis sans parler des gnocchis de patates douces. Nous avons attendu lors de la réception des plats mais le bon goût des plats nous a vite fait oublier l'attente. Vous avez le choix entre la terrasse l'été ou en intérieur. Les prix sont corrects, nous reviendrons !
Alors ma note pour la nourriture est erronée, je ne me suis même pas rendu au repas!! Hier, samedi 6 septembre 2020 nous nous sommes présenté vers 19h30 au petit flore sans réservation, nous étions un groupe de 4. La salle étant pleine, le serveur nous a invité à nous mettre en terrasse. Le probleme est que 20 minutes plus tard personne n'est venu nous saluer, ou apportez les menus ou apportez des verres d'eau ou nettoyer & dresser la table. Il me semblait, dans ma grande naïveté, que 4 adultes en cette période pandémique étaient, pour nos amis restaurateurs qui souffrent économiquement en ce moment une belle opportunité, force est de constater que je me suis trompé!
Évidemment, nous n'avons eu à faire qu'une vingtaine de mètres pour être accueilli comme il se doit par la pizzeria 900 sur Fleury.
Je ne conseil pas le petit Flore & je n'y mettrai plus les pieds!!
Je vais à ce restaurant assez souvent, & c'est vraiment TOUJOURS PARFAIT! Qu'on soit deux, quatre ou huit, le service est toujours impeccable & la nourriture, particulièrement en soirée, absolument délicieuse. Chapeau au serveur, qui anime joyeusement la soirée tout en sachant se faire discret & efficace. Après toutes ces années sur la rue Fleury, ils ont su rester classique tout en se réinventant. Bravo!
