Ordered off uber eats today. I dont expect it to be crispy after sitting in a closed container for half an hour but the fries were incredibly dark, almost burnt & the gravy wasn't my preference. Not enough salt or light seasoning.
The best poutine I've ever eaten in my life.
It has a perfect balance of what a poutine should taste like. Not to mention that their fries are fried in tallow so a super healthy alternative to regular oil 😍!!!
This place is a gem & I hope they keep going for many years to come.
The only thing is that I wasn't able to receive a confirmation whether their poutine is gluten free. I know their fries have dedicated fryers but what about the sauce? I'd love to know for sure since my daughter has celiac & would love to try your poutine one day too.

The best fries & hotdogs joint in Montreal... if not, the World!!! I've been going there for more than 45 for years, always the same great taste, when you are looking for a great hot dog & fries combo, this is the place to go!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We ordered poutine. It was 9,50$ (tax included in the displayed prices). The fries were sweet, the gravy was not too salty & the cheese curds were squishy. I would like them more melty. It was a nice comforting poutine but it was ordinary nothing fancy. The service was quick. There was no chair inside, only counter table. I wish there had chairs. There are picnic tables outside.

We were visiting family in Montreal & decided to stop by & try the food here.
The fries were great, the cheese curds were fresh, the gravy was okay but I think it could have more flavour.
The Michigan was alright, I would just stick to the poutine next time.
Chez Ma Tante is a landmark. I have never had better steamies, fries or poutines. I love the ambiance & the service. Just Perfect!

Definitely the best hot dog joint in Montreal
I was visiting Montreal & did a little research on where I could get some great poutine. Chez did not disappoint. I'm always a fan of menus that are small, but perfectly executed & Chez is a perfect example of why. If you're going to basically do two items, you better do them perfectly, & they did. The fries, gravy & curds are exactly what I was hoping for, seemingly simple, but well balanced & with the perfect amount of cheese that you almost think is too much, until you realize you ate it all & wish there were more. Highly recommend.
& it doesn't hurt that everyone working there is nice, has pride in what they're doing, & genuinely wants every guest to have an amazing experience. I sure did
An absolute gem of a Québec landmark! Amazing steamed hot dogs (I can never eat hot dogs any other way ever again), the poutine is absolutely delicious & addictive & the staff are warm, welcoming & friendly!
