Super fun local poutine place. Definitely tucked away a bit, & options are not super fancy but you get what you pay for. Seems like the drive through is most popular but inside had plenty of standing room to eat

Came here on Saturday December 7th, 2024 around lunch time - Love the exterior decorations for Christmas, there is a nice mural, lots of stickers in the windows & music playing outside. The restaurant is very small & more of a take out counter, with no seating, there is also a drive through. Note they take cash only, there are ATMs on site. We ordered 2 types of hot dogs & a poutine - the hot dogs were good, michigan sauce could have been more flavorful, it was lacking some sweetness. Poutine was a disappointment - the fries were not salted & sauce also lacked some flavor. It was thin & runny, closer to a BBQ type of sauce like St-Hubert style rather than the thick brown gravy. I found everything could have used more flavor. There is only 1 size poutine & it was on the small size. Considering this is some type of historical institution that's been around since 1929, I expected to be charmed but the food was very average & on the expensive side.
Tout simplement le meilleur resto de patate & poutine à Montréal! Authentique, bien exécuté, rapide, délicieux. Ça frappe droit au coeur, service chaleureux & généreux. Un endroit comme il ne s'en invente plus!!
A very nice retro place. I am impressed with the ambiance but also I had a poutine & it was pretty tasty.

Pour 2 fois je reçois ma poutine moitié chaude & mais 2 hot-dog saucisses pas bien cuite
Beau décor rétro qui donne un air d'institution. La saucisse est délicieuse. La poutine a de bonne frites dorées & un fromage satisfaisant mais la sauce ne répond pas nécessairement à l'appel. C'est ouvert jusqu'à 4h am! À noter qu'il n'y a pas de places assises à l'intérieur mais on peut manger debout au comptoir ou sur les tables à picnic dehors.
Delicious hotdogs. Good poutine portions. Reasonably priced. Drive through option available. Would go back!
The Italian poutine was amazing. Not sure what's in the sauce...man but it was delicious. I also had the hot dog with cabbage & mustard perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend this restaurant.
J'ai été mangé à votre restaurant & c'était vraiment bon les hot dog & la poutine vraiment délicieux. & la serveuse (Tina) qui nous a servi était vraiment gentille & rapide un excellent service avec un beau sourire. On va revenir c'est certain 😊
