Taste was not bad. Overpriced. Workers are not friendly, not happy with the service & the price that I paid.
⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The lahmacun was extremely poor & had almost no flavor at all. As shown in the photo, the minced meat does not stick to the dough & completely falls apart. Proper lahmacun should have the meat mixture well-spread & attached to the dough, with seasoning & taste - none of that was present here.
They asked if we wanted salad with the order & we said yes. The salad was very low quality. We also ordered za'atar as an extra, & the portion was disappointingly small.
For everything, we paid $36, which is far too expensive for the quality of food we received. Overall, the food was extremely low quality & not authentic at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for real lahmacun. If you want authentic lahmacun, go to a proper Turkish restaurant.
I got SCAMMED.
I ordered a spicy beef manouche (about ~$13) with a juice that's $2 but they charged me twice the price. First the juice for 2$ they added 2$ then 0.50$ for no reason, then they charged me for a Trio ($18) when I bought a spicy beef manouche (13$). When I questioned it, they claimed the juice made it a Trio, which makes no sense mathematically. They whispered among themselves & gave me excuses that don't make sense or don't even add up. It was super suspicious. I'm a local & speak French, so they knew what they were doing. Really disappointing since this used to be my favorite spot, but I won't be returning anymore...
Service impeccable & les femmes qui travaillent sont respectable & patientes.
Ive been going there for quite some time. & not the first time I see the lady with the glasses touching money, cash machine etc & not changing gloves then goes to touch my food to put in the oven.its 2025 , people needs to understand money is dirty & shouldn't touch food after touching money, food is good tho
Mouilleurs Manakich que j'ai mangé, plusieurs choix, c'est frais & préparé devant vous. J'y retourne, c'est certain.
We ordered Man'ouche zaatar & cheese & Lahmajin, it was very good. The taste of the cheese is super good & the meat was also good. It is located inside the Scotia Bank/Simons mall, in the food court. The service was excellent also. I would recommend it & will definitely be back.
Great service by the owner... friendly & great tasting Cheese & Zaatar manakeesh (Pies).
Great lahmajoun & super friendly ladies working as well.
Service was fast & very tasty
I would recommend & definitely will visit again!
Enjoy
Absolutely delicious food. This was an unexpected find & I'm so glad I gave it a try. Their service is kind & excellent & their ingredients fresh & flavorful.
The best manouchi in Montreal! The food is hand made with quality ingredients, always fresh, & the service is amazing. They offer vegetarian options, chicken, beef, & even a manouchi with shrimps. I also love their chickpea & quinoa salad & the avocado salad. I've been coming here for years & the owner is very kind & accommodating, I love being able to support his business. I'm already thinking about the next time I can get my next manouchi from Chez Fourna after I finish eating my food lol & sometimes I buy an extra one to bring home. I always make sure to grab food here when I'm in Downtown, they never disappoint. Definitely worth a try, you won't regret it!
For 16 years, Chez Fourna has been the best spot in downtown Montreal for fresh, authentic manouchi & vibrant salads. Their commitment to quality & traditional Lebanese flavors keeps customers coming back. Whether you're craving a classic zaatar manouchi or a refreshing salad, every dish is made with care & the freshest ingredients. A must-visit for Lebanese food lovers!
This is truly the best spot for a quick & easy lunch in downtown Montreal!
This is my favourite place to eat not only in the underground mall but downtown Montreal for anything Arabic. Mohamad & his team do a great job at serving authentic Lebanese fast food here. I almost always have the Chicken Chtoura which is fabulous. They cook everything from scratch here in the oven fresh. The quality is impeccable & you can tell this is a tightly run family business that also cares & maintains high standards. Always look forward to returning anytime in d/t Montreal.
Unbelievable meal we got the mixed salad & the spice my beef wrap/flatbread. The salads were so fresh sand tasty & the spicy beef flatbread/wrap was so saucy. For what you get the price is great. We are travelling from Australia & this is one of the best pound for pound best meals we have had. Thank you ladies !
Excellent choix pour un repas rassasiant sur le pouce avec des aliments frais. Les employés étaient bien souriants & service en français.
I always stop at Chez Fourna when I travel to Montreal. It is just under the escalator opposite Maison Simons. Ordered Spinach & cheese fatayar & came piping hot from the oven (Fourna). Give it a minute or 2 before eating, otherwise you will burn your mouth from the hot crust. As it is full to the brim with toppings it will be lukewarm in the center, the hot crust & melted cheese will even out the temperature. Will return.
