salad(9) cheese(7) lebanese(6) fresh(6) court(6) downtown(5) ingredients(5) zaatar(5) manouchi(5) simons(4) beef(4) maouche(4)I was verbally abused by 2 girls when I went there, one was openly aggressive for no reason, I paid by card, but while I was trying to do it, she cancelled the transaction on her side. When I politely told her she had to process again she became hysterical, accused ME of cancelling the transaction (which shows tremendous stupidity & ignorance since the customer cannot cancel a transaction from his side, it has to be done by the merchant) she started yelling like an insane person, even though I never even blamed her cuz she clearly had no idea how to do her job properly, I just asked her to redo it...so I could pay! She must have severe issues cuz she went very far in her verbal abuse, & when I aksed her colleague who was cooking behind to bring a manager to calm her down, that girl who is clearly as inexperienced as the other, started to pretend she was the manager, & while the crazy girl was STILL YELLING she kept telling me that she was doing nothing wrong & I was the problem....for trying to pay! I had to eventually call the mall's security because those 2 ladies were clearly insane. I don't know who the real owner or manager is, but if you hire people like that to do service, you have A SERIOUS problem. Never go there again, & I tell everyone I know to avoid it too. If that happens to you, do not waste time, they lie & cheat, just call security immediately, but better yet: DON'T GO THERE!
If you are looking for the best Lebanese Manouche downtown, you found your spot, other options of salads are available, ingredients are fresh, service never disappoints.
Located in the food court of the Simons building. Got the spicy beef cheese patty. A little pricey but it's very filling & full of meat. Could do with some sauce.
An authentic Lebanese Manouche!
The manouche tastes like the ones you can get in Beyrouth.
The 3 Algerian ladies who were there ate pleasant. The food is good & the prices very reasonable. This my 2nd time here & both times I've been satisfied.
I ordered two spicy beef patties heated & to go. Cost 8$ + 1$ tip I gave for the sweet lady at the cash. I asked for a paper bag since i need to walk outside in the snow, the chef screamed at the lady & asked why. She explained to him & he stared at me in a racism way as if my order was too small for a paper bag. I will not return there. Bad ethics & bad environment. I regret tipping.
Too expensive! $17 for a spinach & cheese sandwich with 3 toppings?? & customers service is really bad. They miss calculated the price of the sandwich then wouldn't let me swallow my food until the difference is paid. Never again
Taste was not bad. Overpriced. Workers are not friendly, not happy with the service & the price that I paid.
⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The lahmacun was extremely poor & had almost no flavor at all. As shown in the photo, the minced meat does not stick to the dough & completely falls apart. Proper lahmacun should have the meat mixture well-spread & attached to the dough, with seasoning & taste - none of that was present here.
They asked if we wanted salad with the order & we said yes. The salad was very low quality. We also ordered za'atar as an extra, & the portion was disappointingly small.
For everything, we paid $36, which is far too expensive for the quality of food we received. Overall, the food was extremely low quality & not authentic at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for real lahmacun. If you want authentic lahmacun, go to a proper Turkish restaurant.
I got SCAMMED.
I ordered a spicy beef manouche (about ~$13) with a juice that's $2 but they charged me twice the price. First the juice for 2$ they added 2$ then 0.50$ for no reason, then they charged me for a Trio ($18) when I bought a spicy beef manouche (13$). When I questioned it, they claimed the juice made it a Trio, which makes no sense mathematically. They whispered among themselves & gave me excuses that don't make sense or don't even add up. It was super suspicious. I'm a local & speak French, so they knew what they were doing. Really disappointing since this used to be my favorite spot, but I won't be returning anymore...
Service impeccable & les femmes qui travaillent sont respectable & patientes.
Ive been going there for quite some time. & not the first time I see the lady with the glasses touching money, cash machine etc & not changing gloves then goes to touch my food to put in the oven.its 2025 , people needs to understand money is dirty & shouldn't touch food after touching money, food is good tho
Mouilleurs Manakich que j'ai mangé, plusieurs choix, c'est frais & préparé devant vous. J'y retourne, c'est certain.
We ordered Man'ouche zaatar & cheese & Lahmajin, it was very good. The taste of the cheese is super good & the meat was also good. It is located inside the Scotia Bank/Simons mall, in the food court. The service was excellent also. I would recommend it & will definitely be back.
