Overall great Chinese food - some of the best I have ever had.
We ordered a few plates to share - General Tao's Chicken, Beef & Brocolli, Spicy Chicken, Vegetable Noodles, & Vegetable Fried Rice.
The only issue was that the spicy chicken was not at all spicy. It had chili peppers served with the dish, but the chicken itself was not spicy.
We came here for dinner with my family?the food is good, & the waitress who took our order was very kind, checking on us multiple times during the meal. However, there was a small guy seemed unhappy to have us dining there-perhaps because it was almost closing time? He simply placed the dishes on the table without a word, & when I tried to ask him about the names of the dishes, he ignored me. It seems that rather than answering our questions, he preferred replying to text messages on his phone
The food was delicious & the service was excellent. The servers were very friendly & worked hard to accommodate our group of ten on short notice. Highly recommend stopping here if you're looking for a bite in Chinatown.
We came for Christmas Day lunch with our baby in a stroller. The restaurant is located in the basement with no elevator, which required us to physically lift the stroller down ourselves. From the start, it was clear this restaurant is not stroller- or baby-friendly.
Despite being three people (my husband, myself, & our baby), we were made to wait because the staff refused to seat us at a 3-4 person table-even though several were clearly available. It felt as though our baby was not considered a guest at all.
We were then placed at a 2-person table, with a high chair pushed tightly against the wall, leaving barely any table space. This arrangement made it obvious that babies are treated as an inconvenience rather than customers, simply because they don't generate revenue.
When we politely requested a larger table for safety & comfort, we were dismissed with a blunt'cannot, we are busy.' The tone was unwelcoming & came across as take it or leave it.
We also noticed a clear difference in how non-Asian diners were treated, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.
Overall, this experience showed a complete lack of consideration for families with babies & completely ruined our Christmas Day.
Ordered a huge lunch order for the office for our holiday lunch, & the service & food was really above & beyond expecations. I'll have to go eat there in person in the near future!
Had dinner her last night 12.13.25 while visiting from Florida. It's a small place, upstairs, located in the Chinatown area of Montreal & the food was very good. We had the beef fried rice & the general Tao's chicken. It was just us two, but the generous portions were plenty for 4. If we're in Montreal again, we'd love to try other dishes here.
Freshly prepared, delicious, flavourful food! Really enjoyed it, & spicy & non spicy options, as well as meat & veggie ones, were plentiful! Look forward to coming back!
I'm not sure why people love this place. The chicken was very average, the rice was dry & tasteless. Not going back. & it is quite pricy compared to other great chinese places in Montreal.
Awesome Chinese restaurant situated in a basement with cuisine mostly revolving around Szechuan, with some twists. The menu has lots of options & the pricing is great considering the very shareable portion sizes. Service is excellent as well. One of our dishes came out a bit later than the rest of the food but a near flawless dining experience otherwise.
We tried the tripe, the ginger chicken & the dumplings. They were all great. The ice cream mochi & the caramelized bananas were also good.
The staff was helpful & attentive.
PSA don't schedule take out from here. I did it, & the app said it was ready to pick up, but when I went to pick it up, they said they didn't get the order. So I had to wait an extra 20 min for them to make my food on the spot. Waiter was unapologetic & just told me to not scheduling takeout again. The food also leaked & got on my bag & clothes
