If you're in Montreal's Chinatown, go to Chez Chilli. We ordered General Tao Chicken, Hunan Beef, & Salt & Pepper Shrimp & everything was delicious. The shrimp was crispy & flavorful, the beef had the perfect kick, & the General Tao was classic comfort food. Great spot for a yummy Chinese meal!
Après avoir essayé celui de Chambly ( la même chaîne) je voulais absolument venir goûter celui du Chinatown.
Mon ami me dit qu'il est supérieur & que le goût n'est pas pareil.
Nous sommes venus en soirée où commence le Comicon au Palais des Congrès donc beaucoup de monde.
Sur les lieux c'était bondé mais nous sommes chanceux plusieurs clients commencent à quitter.
Ce n'est pas très grand & la climatisation est assez juste.
Le bruit était modéré & on peut parler sans besoin de crier.
Le service est excellent & la nourriture arrive rapidement après avoir commandé.
Effectivement c'est très bon , tout est goûteux.
J'aurais aimé un peu moins d'huile pour le Chow Mein Cantonese & aubergines au porc, le boeuf sur plaque chauffante très bon mais l'os prends trop de place, crevettes sel & poivre sont délicieux.
Menu vaste je vais devoir revenir pour essayer d'autres plats !!!
Went to Chinatown for a quick bite before the Cirque du Soleil Echo show in Montreal. Literally a'Dive', walking down some filthy stairs into the basement. But food was great! Three of us filled up with Gen Tsao's Chicken (menu item C1) as well as Broccoli with garlic sauce (L14). Tasty. Chicken did not smell, which is often a problem at Chinese restaurants. Huge portions (enough for us to give a meal to one of the many homeless wandering around). Paid $43 USD, including tip (no drinks). Recommended.

This time we were 7 people on a Friday night we waited 15 min & the food was even better than last time. General Tao is amazing! We also tried the spicy hunan beef which was also great! All around, this place is still incredible for the money you pay & service, best place in Chinatown imho.
Low msg Chinese food, very good! I will come back & their service is great really sweet waitresses. The Tsing Tao beer is great also.
Prices are great, variety & clean food.

Unassuming & homey- everything came out quick & hot! We ordered the cumin beef, soy sauce fish, yu Xiang egg plant, three heavenly treasures, cabbage, & noodles with beef! Great service - One of our party doesn't eat pork & they were extremely accommodating. Got pretty busy around 7pm. Def recommend! We were looking for a delicious family style meal in Chinatown & definitely found it.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY GOOD REVIEWS. This place is genuinely gross. The worst Chinese food I've ever had in my entire life & I eat a lot of Chinese food. Out of my entire group of 4 every dish was barely edible, the sauce & seasonings were horrid like worse quality than some microwave meat in ketchup. Service was weirdly slow which is also so weird for a Chinese restaurant. & for Chinatown it's kind of pricey, so there is actually not a redeemable quality. I came here due to the good ratings but I think it's because they give people a free dessert for reviews, & I guess people are already there so might as well subject others to this slop for a free banana. But if I save even one person from coming here & having a horrible meal I will be happy. Also- the toilet was clogged so we couldn't even use the bathroom in the 40 minutes it took to bring out our noodles, this didn't actually matter but kind of funny that they managed to mess that up too.
I was looking online for good eats in Chinatown for my upcomjng visit to Montreal, & this name kept on popping up so I thought I'd give it a try. I see why it's a local favourite. The general tao chicken was tangier than I expected, but the batter had an amazing crunch juxtaposed with tender & juicy meat. I paired it with a Cantonese sausage fried rice, which was just as good as it smelled. Definitely a good place for food after an evening exploring the port, it's well worth your money.
