It all started in 2009 when they met at a restaurant on Laurier Street. Their common passions quickly brought them together and united them at work as well as in a beautiful friendship. With 22 years of experience, Louis is a veteran in restauration. At the time, he quickly saw Felix's potential in the field. With his curiosity, skills and ambition Felix probably reminded him of himself that age. Petit restaurant avec environ une vingtaine de places donc pas trop de gens & de bruit. Belle ambiance juste parfaite. Une entrée de pieuvre & deux plats principaux commandé. Ma blonde a pris un plat de poisson & elle ne croyait pas le manger au complet, car l'entrée l'avait déjà bourré un peu, elle a passé au travers comme si il n'y avait pas de lendemain 🤣. Je ne suis pas un gars de pâtes ailleurs qu'à la maison mais j'ai été intrigué par ses pâtes aux fruits de mer & quel délice. Le service est très amical, les deux principaux acteurs sont conjoints, alors ça fait une belle chimie bien agréable.
La qualité des plats (fraîcheur, apparence & goût) a dépassé nos attentes. Il y avait trois plats principaux en plus de ceux qui figurent habituellement au menu. Spécialité de poisson (mais pas seulement) avec une petite touche asiatique. Le prix est raisonnable pour une telle qualité. Il y a possibilité de partager une entrée ou un dessert. On y retournera, c'est certain! Pour un osso bucco, peut-être. Sera-t-il à la hauteur du tartare de truite, des pétoncles & de la morue poêlée que nous avons dégustés hier?
Food was good nothing amazing, service is very good by the owners a nice couple, they go out of their way to make sure everything goes well. We would more often it should be a nice neighbourhood restaurant you go every week, but prices are as high as the top restaurants downtown. We go on the plateau often & there's many good affordable options there with similar food quality. So Boss & Fils is good but just too pricey. Owners are very nice.

A neighbourhood restaurant with full of character. The owners are very nice & welcoming, the service is good & the food is to die for. Expect a cosy & friendly atmosphere, nothing posh.
Il manque d'étoiles pour ce resto. Nourriture, service, tout était excellent. Tu te sens dans un bistrot gastronomique ... québécois, chez vous Merci Louis & ton coeur (sa femme, comme il l'appelle)
This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. From as soon as we walked in until we left. "The Boss" greeted us at the door & told us our table would be ready soon ( we were early). As we waited, he brought a bottle of prosecco for us to sip on. Once seated, the waiter was amazing, the wine list was great, & the food was to die for. The atmosphere is like no other, & the experience while there was one for the books. I will definitely be going back, & I suggest anyone reading this chooses to go eat here. Definitely worth it!

The Best Restaurant I've Ever Been to in Montréal! A huge shoutout to the impeccable service. The waitstaff was always attentive, ensuring our wine & water were always topped up without us ever needing to ask. There's no traditional wine list, but the chef will pair each dish with a carefully chosen wine at a reasonable price. We genuinely felt like we were dining at home, especially with Boss & his super sweet wife serving us-such a warm, personal touch that made the experience even more special! Here's what we had: 1-Tartare - Fresh & delicious! The dish featured a sweet, lemony syrup in little dots on the plate-don't skip them, as they elevate each bite. I did feel the tartare could've been a bit less sour, letting the fish's natural flavor shine through a bit more. 2-Octopus - Absolutely exceeded expectations! The dish had an incredible balance of flavors, & I was amazed at how subtly bell peppers complemented the octopus without overpowering it. I'll definitely order this again. 3-Côte de Boeuf - A generous plate meant to be shared. The mashed potatoes were rich & creamy, & the gravy was light-perfect for complementing the steak. & speaking of the steak... it was divine. Honestly, even though I was full, I was a little sad to have to share it! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Montréal. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish!

Superbe resto de quartier avec un service impeccable réalisé directement par les proprios à essayer & vous allez voir vous allez revenir c'est certain!! La qualité des plats est exceptionnel Si vous êtes venu il y'a un moment revenez le chef a change & c'est délicieux
Super expérience à ce restaurant. Le service était excellent, les propriétaires (un couple) étaient très sympathiques. Ils nous ont fait goûté à plusieurs vins d'importation privée tous aussi délicieux les uns que les autres. Nous avons pris plusieurs plats à partager, qui étaient tous aussi excellents les uns que les autres. Les desserts étaient aussi très bons. Les prix étaient étonnamment raisonnables, nous avons payé 70$/personne pour 9-10 plats à 4 avec une bouteille de vin & 1 digestif !!! Tout était parfait !
Quelle belle soirée avec Louis & cie. Tout était parfait! La meilleure pieuvre à vie... Musique agréable & parfaite! Merci la vie (Google) de mettre ce genre de resto ds nos vies
