It all started in 2009 when they met at a restaurant on Laurier Street. Their common passions quickly brought them together and united them at work as well as in a beautiful friendship. With 22 years of experience, Louis is a veteran in restauration. At the time, he quickly saw Felix's potential in the field. With his curiosity, skills and ambition Felix probably reminded him of himself that age. Nous avons passé une très belle soirée chez Boss & Fils. Les propriétaires sont très plaisant & humoristique. La nourriture est excellente & très goûteuse. C'est certain que nous y retournerons.
Quelle belle trouvaille pour nous. Un vrai bijou de quartier avec une cuisine hors pair, un service personnalisé, attentif, professionnel & sympathique. Nous avons adoré! C'était notre première visite & nous avons l'intention de récidiver! Merci à l'équipe pour une soirée mémorable.

We are Americans trying this restaurant for the first time & had a fabulous experience. The food is creative, fresh, & absolutely delicious. The servers were warm & welcoming. There is a fabulous energy in this place & we will definitely return on our next visit to Montreal.

Notre première expérience chez Boss & fils & se fut une expérience mémorable. Un accueil chaleureux & amical & une nourriture de première qualité. Nous avons pris en entré le calmar qui est fabuleux ainsi que le foie gras poêler un régal. La salade de tomates & les gnocchis aux ricotta fut aussi excellente. L'agneau braiser avec une sauce goûteuse de très haute qualité.
Excellent sur tout, Acceuil chalereux & tout les plats étaient un vrai régal, Service impeccable, si vous voulez une experience culinaire digne de grand chef cuisinier c'est l'endroit

Plats: Épaule d'agneau, Gnocchi ricotta, Morue.

Petit resto où l'accueil & le service sont si chaleureux qu'on a l'impression d'être chez eux! Les plats sont raffinés, délicieux & généreux. À mon avis, c'est le meilleur resto du coin & c'est toujours un grand plaisir d'y aller.
Small & intimate with a very limited menu. But everything on the menu is great! I don't think they have an actual wine list. Just tell them what kind of wine you would like & they sill serve you something appropriate & reasonable priced.
Souper avec 4 amis, nous avons été très bien accueilli, la nourriture était exceptionnelle & les vins suggères accompagnaient très bien les plats. Bravo Louis & Nathalie pour cette belle expérience & cette merveilleuse soirée

A Wonderful First Experience at Boss & Fils in Verdun
I've been wanting to try Boss & Fils for a while, & I'm so glad I finally did! What a gem of a place tucked in the heart of Verdun. As soon as you walk in, you feel immediately welcomed; it has that cozy, family-run restaurant vibe that makes you feel at home.
We kicked things off with oysters, & wow, they were incredibly fresh. As a first-timer, I decided to try something new & paired them with smoked jalapeno instead of my usual minette or tabasco. I was blown away; the smoky heat was just sublime & really elevated the oysters to a whole new level.
For appetizers, we had the foie gras, which was absolutely divine, & the poached egg with asparagus; a perfect combination of flavors. For our main courses, I had the scallops, which were cooked to perfection, & my friend went for the steak, which was also amazing. The flavors were on point, everything was perfectly seasoned, & you could tell they use only high-quality ingredients.
Don't hesitate to ask the staff (or the owner) for a wine recommendation; they know their stuff! The wine pairing he suggested was spot on & complemented our meal beautifully.
To top it all off, we had the strawberry tartlette & chocolate brownie for dessert. While both were delicious, the chocolate brownie truly stole the show. It melted in your mouth & had the perfect balance of richness & sweetness; absolutely unforgettable.
The family & staff were so friendly & genuinely passionate about the food they serve. You can tell they put a lot of care into their dishes, especially since they use seasonal ingredients. I'll definitely be returning often!
Overall, Boss & Fils did not disappoint; if you're in the area, don't miss out on this incredible little spot! Highly recommended! Lo
