I highly recommend this place! After a 3-day trip to Quebec City, I was really craving Korean food, & this restaurant was just a 10-minute walk from my hotel.
I ordered the Jjamjjamyun & an extra small Tangsuyuk, which turned out to be the perfect portion for my son & me. The food was delicious, & the service was excellent - our waitress was very friendly & attentive.
I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Montreal!

Absolutely my favourite Korean-Chinese restaurant! 🥰 Their fried chicken is crispy perfection, the rose jjampong is rich & flavourful, the tangsuyuk is perfectly balanced between sweet & tangy, & the jjajangmyeon is pure comfort in a bowl. They always serve tasty side dishes that make the meal even better. I've been coming here for years, & every visit has been consistently delicious. Finally leaving a review because they truly deserve it - highly recommend!
Hope they bring back their truffle jjajangmyeon because I enjoyed it a lot!
We craved for traditional korean dishes, so decided to try Chez Bong since we were walking down the block.
our waitress very friendly & gave us a great service, food came out real quick ( it was not busy on a saturday afternoon, also that day was beautiful outside so that explains why probably)
My friend & I ordered a stir-fried spicy pork dish & a stir-fried bulgogi & a side of korean fried dumplings, we enjoyed our food. it came with small side dishes
the only thing i would suggest is to maybe put some more ambiance because we couldn't talk normally, we had to whisper not for others to listen ( it was that quiet)
I would definitely go back to try their other dishes!
Cozy spot to enjoy authentic Korean cuisine. They offer delicious side dishes. Their fried-chicken is to DIE FOR! My go-to place every time! RECOMMENDED
J'ai adoré mon expérience dans ce restaurant coréen. Nous avons commandé plusieurs plats à partager, & tout était absolument délicieux. Mes jeunes ont adoré. Le service était impeccable, du début à la fin. un endroit très, très, très bon, une excellente découverte. À recommander sans hésitation.

The highlight of my trip to Montreal was visiting Chez Bong.
The server was kind & friendly, & I believe it was the owner who came out personally to help us when we asked about parking-very thoughtful & helpful.
While some of the photos I saw showed the black bean noodles (jajangmyeon) looking smooth, the sauce in the platter-style version we ordered tasted more like raw black bean paste, as if it hadn't been fully cooked. The jjamppong was a bit bland as well. That said, the kanpunggi was delicious.
Food is not about right or wrong-it's a matter of the restaurant's own style, so I have no complaints. Thank you for the meal!
Best korean food experience!! This is the hidden gem of MTL! Truly authentic & traditional korean flavors!! &, with fast service, no long waits! Love this place & will come back❤?❤?❤?
Visiting from Los Angeles with my mom & daughter- my mom is picky but she loved the food here. She prefers the jjanjangmyun & jam ppong at chez bong over the ones in LA! Service was great & staff was friendly. We are hoping come back again before flying back home.
The best Korean food I've had in Montreal.
My boyfriend & I were floored by the flavor of everything we tried. Everything was perfectly balanced & cooked, from the banchan to the rice, where you could see every distinct grain. The service was also amazing. We'll definitely be coming back!

When I first visit this restaurant, I had the spicy soup with noodles & spicy stir fried pork. Those were so goooood, so I thought about Chez Bong while I was in Quebec. So I visited here again when I came back to Montreal. I strongly recommend fried rice & spicy soup with noodle. Their service was very nice, too.
The food very yummy, taste is so authentic Korean home made. The owner & the service super nice & very friendly. Highly recommended & definitely will come back.
I've been coming to Chez Bong for over 10 years, & it remains one of my all-time favorite restaurants. This family-owned gem consistently delivers the best jajangmyeon I've ever had-rich, flavorful, & perfectly comforting every single time. The owners are warm & welcoming, & the atmosphere feels like home. You can truly taste the care & tradition in every dish. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, Chez Bong always hits the spot. Highly, highly recommended!
Very positively surprised with the food taste & variety. Very authentic! The kimchi & main courses were delicious. We were very well taken care of too. Price is also very good, especially considering the size & quality of the portions. I recommend, if you like Korean / Asian food.
