Amazing experience at Chef On Call!
The food was fresh, hot, & absolutely delicious. The burgers & wraps were juicy, the fries have the perfect crispy, & the portions were very generous. The staff were friendly, fast(10-15 min wait time), & made the whole experience even better.
If you're looking for great comfort food late at night in Montreal, Chef On Call is definitely the spot. Highly recommend it & will definitely be coming back again!
Food was overweldone, last time was so yummy, but tonight I invited my friends from Vancouver & unfortunately like so many other things have been changed during 2 , 3 years post COVID in Montreal, the food was not good like before / still nice staff

Had a great experience at Chef On Call
Jeff was amazing, super friendly, helpful, & welcoming. The service was quick, & the food was delicious as always. Definitely one of my go-to spots for comfort food done right. Thanks Jeff & the team!
It's a very solid fast food place! The restaurant is clean, & the cashiers are friendly.
The burgers are good, although they can be a little messy. The vegetarian burger is also very good & reminiscent of real meat. The plain fries (not the poutine) are dry & lacking in flavor though. If you get the plain fries, eat them while they are hot.
The wings are okay. I would recommend getting them tossed in a sauce.
I always order delivery, most often it's good. Sometimes I get overcooked curly fries or they sat too long under a heat lamp. They aren't chewable, or warm. Kinda gross. Consistency would be good. The club sandwich was burnt. Both the bunch & chicken were scorched. It was not pleasant.

Does anyone else have trouble with the responsiveness of the website? Hungg gap & just rolling in the empty. Also, please put login on first page...I don't need, as a customer, to have to go through a landing page or funnel. For the food, you don't order there because your health is important! Comfort food could be better quality for the price paid. More options would be appreciated. Thank you.
Edit: Had a delivery this night & the delivery guy & the receptionist were A1! They must've been very busy cause they had forgotten my tenders & my poutine & offered to give me chef coin credits for the items but I was hungry & asked if there was time to deliver them. So they did & it was quick! Even gave me complementary sauces & a fried mars bar as a surprise! I was elated at the courtesies they showed! But, then again, I was polite & had given a decent tip. The food was good & perfect temperature! I'd still like them to offer more options, if possible but quality is ok for what they offer. I now use the app. as it's way more convenient & less of a pain in the a$$ to go through. You can track your order after the order page or in history of transactions.
Edit2: Got my delivery. My crisp burger was good but not hot hot,you know? & instead of Sprite×1 I got 2×lemoniced tea named Fuze. I didn't know they had this. I saw they had Monster drink in their list when ordering. I wasn't informed of the substitution & I disn't get my salad. Will follow-up with customer service tomorrow about that. I think I'll try ordering earlier than 1h22. Also, I tried installing the app I previously had & it doesn't work, even with location turned on.
Update on edit #2: I was contacted & got 8$ in Chef's coins. He said I didn't receive the right cold bag. He responded in 48 hours. All 😎👍
For the app, he asked some screenshots. LOL! I gave him the black screen I got & the icon of the app. I'll try again & hope it works.🤷?♀?
Walking in, I wasn't sure I was able to get food ordered & ready to eat so quickly, thinking it might have been an on call catering service only. Turns out, after speaking to the owner & Father, they have a a business in my Hometown ! & as it turns out, they cater quite often to my workplace there ! Small world. They owner & father offered me a free slider while waiting which was amazing, & the food I ordered was also great! Great service, super friendly, & an amazing experience in a foreign place that I was not familiar with. Thank you !
I have been ordering for many years. The food is amazing & prices are affordable. The driver Ouss is absolutely amazing, always on time, friendly & reliable. Stellar employee.
Really good hamburger, the fries are so good. The girl offered our group a pitcher of water which was really thoughtful. Music is a bit loud of a cozy place. But it's not a deal breaker. Will definitely go back!
Ordered on their app with coupon, I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the order arrived. We took the OG chicken burger & curly fries which were both very tasty.
Have ordered from here twice now, & both times the food was cold. I even made the second order in person & was given the food fast so I thought for sure it must be hot, but after a less than 5 min walk home, it was cold already. They obviously gave me a burger they had made earlier. They don't care about quality, just getting your money is all that matters. Friends recommended it to me which is why I gave them a second chance. Not again I'm afraid.
