In this cold weather, chai is a total necessity & this is definitely the place to be! The karak chai was amazing & we had such a great time. Plus, the decor is stunning; it's the perfect photo spot for a girls' night out or just a cute daytime hang. 10/10, highly recommend! ☕✨
It's chaiiwala as brand but they don't know how to cook the chai. Guys put efforts to improve the chai. Koi zafrran wagra daal k improve kro taste. Don't make lassi in place of chai!!!
I recently visited this restaurant & had a bit of a mixed experience. The ambience was definitely a highlight-very well done, comfortable, & inviting. It's the kind of place where you'd want to sit & relax for a while. The tea was also excellent, full of flavor & served just right.
However, the service for food was extremely slow. We had to wait around 45 minutes, which felt quite excessive. It got to a point where we were seriously considering leaving, & we even asked to cancel our takeaway order because of the delay.
While the atmosphere & tea were great, the long wait for food really impacted the overall experience. With better service timing, this place has the potential to be much better.
We just got some chai here & it was delicious! The manager was super helpful & friendly as well, definitely will come back!
This is worst lemonade I ever tasted. When I ask the manager, told us that was made with formula company gave them. It's not naturally made.
We were two girls sitting at a table, talking, & we didn't realize it had reached midnight or that the place was about to close. Without giving us any prior notice, the staff suddenly turned off all the lights in the entire venue & stood by the door. We were completely shocked & honestly quite scared.
When we expressed our concern, they simply responded,'We're closing.' This was extremely unprofessional!
It was our first time at this restaurant. We thought it would be great, but unfortunately it was not. We ordered aloo parathas, & they seemed like frozen parathas from Costco. I was really disappointed with the size, quantity, & taste. After that, we ordered a Bombay Classic Sandwich. For $8, they served us just one tasteless sandwich. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.
Worst taste , less quantity with high prices . I have ordered allo prantha , it was worst . I feels like it was a frozen . For 8$ , they give us one classic bombay sandwich, again worst in taste .
Food is good service is good but the name itself has chai in it & the chai is only the worst thing feels like a mixture of tea powder & milk which was kept high on stove & is served. & it's not a first time everytime the taste is different & is worst in many ways I would prefer getting a french vanilla from tim hortons rather than spending here
food is good, but it's inconsistant. the cook in the morning does a good job the cook during the night sucks, cheap (not generous) & slow.

Their drinks are really good, the price VS the quantity less... it's not generous at all. The lava cake was good but looked really pre-made. Tried to talk in French & the lady couldn't speak it obviously. I had to tell her 4 times it was a take out. Other customers seems to enjoy the food but it's a not for me. Lastly the difference between the service with me & other customers was crazy. I got the lazy unfriendly service...I'm disappointed😞
Wow, what a place, super authentic Karak chai in Montreal with delicious snacks & sandwiches!!!!!
Best chai you'll find in Montreal & the staff is so sweet & they do take care of you.
Very disappointing experience. There was a long wait even though there was no one else in the store. I waited an unreasonable amount of time for just two gulab jamun.
The person at the cash register clearly lacks customer service skills. He was laughing & arguing with another customer about their order instead of focusing on preparing mine. When I politely asked about my order, he simply said,'It's coming,' with no apology or explanation.
Poor service & unprofessional behavior. Definitely not the experience I expected.
Tried the masala fries & it genuinely took me back to pakiland
Edit: came back after a few months. Ordered the masala fries & they were bitter. So we sent them back. The dude brings out a grilled cheese sandwich as a substitute, we clearly didn't want that. So he offered regular fries & we say sure. Why they didn't just remake the masala fries? No clue. & then I realize ayo the fries are cheaper than the masala fries. I spoke to the cashier & he keeps joking around like you can get something worth 2.50$ but I can't give you a refund. It's not about the value of your food at this point. It's a matter of your service. The fries don't meet the standard from a few months ago. & I have to agrue to get my money back? Which I don't receive. As someone who works in the food industry, this is genuinely not how one should treat their customers.
The pink chai had the most delicious, rich aroma with hints of nuts & floral & the samosa was full of flavor & evidently cooked with fresh ingredients & fried in fresh oil. We will be back!
Went to try chai, they did not disappoint. Vibe was good, ambiance was good, & Karak Chai was the best also, tried their desi toast which they serve under all day breakfast menu at night which was freshly made & good in taste. Definitely recommend this place to any chai lovers. On top of these the staff there is very friendly, polite & gives their best service. Will go back again.
