it was our first rime there, fantastic experience! although the placw was busy the staff was super friendly & great customer service. very helpful & smiles on their face. we went with a 5 yr old & she loved it!! there is a small studio fee(very reasonable) & this includes all the accesories you need to paint your ceramic, from brushes to many colors, to turning plates to paint to stencils, lettering & artistic stencils. the place was clean & modern, plenty of parking on st jean ce tral location close to highways. the menu is delicious for a quick bite & the coffee comforting & delicious. perfect relaxing family activity. the welcoming staff made all the difference. as soon as we came in the door we were quickly attended & shown to our table & the instructions explained despite how busy it was for a saturday evening. . you also have plastified cards explaining to you everything from paint colors & how it works. highly recommend this ceramic cafe location in DDOView more

Fun activity to do, but highly disappointed in service & the quality of what we've received. It was our first time visiting & likely our last... While we were greeted & seated by someone, nobody explained to us where to get paints or even took our drink order. We were sat, then ignored for the rest of the night. A couple next to us had to explain how the whole process worked. More than that, when we were almost done, we noticed new tables being served & being asked if they wanted anything to drink... we essentially got no service & had to completely clean up after ourselves. Which to be fair we would've, but having the audacity to ask for a tip after being completely ignored all night Strange. Plus, one of our pieces is covered in chips! Overall, a fun bonding experience & activity! Disappointed in service & what we received back.View more
via LibroOne of my favourite places to bring my grandchildren for a fun activity. It's very chill, the children are free to go to the area where the paints & accessories are at any time to explore & grab whatever they want for their projects. The selection of items to paint is great & inspiring, from simple plates & cups to more elaborate decorative items. There are plenty of creative tools like sponges, stencils & stamps & the staff is ready & willing to demonstrate techniques or make a delicious latté. Occasionally we have a snack & the food is good & reasonably priced. I really appreciate the quiet atmosphere that is respectful of others & conducive to art making. The staff are young & service oriented & happy to help us find what we need & provide us with additional plates & paper towels. Or we can always find them easily on our own. Highly recommended.

Love this place! Great for a fun & memorable date night or with friends/family! The staff are friendly & knowledgeable with a large variety of ceramic pieces that you can paint! We love making custom Christmas ornaments here every year. I even made a special momento for a dear friend who lost their dog this year. The staff made a custom drill hole for ornament hanging & an opening for her to keep his collar inside. If you want a fun evening with a meaningful keepsake/gift, would definitely recommend this place!View more

Used to love coming here, but recently every time i’d receive the ceramic it would have splotchy or scratched off areas. Especially disappointed in this cup that i painted a week ago. Don’t mind the outlining of the letters, that was my messy job😂. Although, you can see that bits of the blue paint got in the middle of the letters (even pink somehow?) & it looks splotchy. Also on the edge of the cup, it unfortunate got scratched off which i kind of upset me. The service was fine tho. Hope this won’t happen again.View more

Pros: My daughter loved her party & the helpers were great.
Cons: We were placed next to a huge birthday group. They were always out of their seats & blocking our table for the girls to get in & out to get paint or supplies. Also, they brought their own food & dessert (pizza, cake, cake pops, candies & cupcakes). My daughter & her friends were really disappointed with the food we had because the other party was over the top. I asked our party helper why the other party was allowed to bring outside food & they said the parents misunderstood so didn't know they couldn't bring their own food so they brought it anyways & were allowed to serve it. We asked to get some Mr Puffs from next door to help my daughters disappointment but we were denied from doing that. We ended up having the girls rush through their lunch & leaving 20 mins early to bring the girls to Mr Puffs next door. We unfortunately lost time in the cafe because we had to make sure the kids were done before the pick up time. I agree that rules should be in place & I was happy to sign the consent form to agree to them, but super disappointed to be in full view of a party who were allowed to break the rules right next to us when they also had to sign a consent form & agree to the rules. We should have been allowed too in this case, instead of picking & choosing who should be allowed exceptions to the clearly defined rules.

It was my first time & it was fun but I hated the fact that we literally had to go get the staff so they can explain things to us when they told us someone was coming over to explain everything before we start. We also had to get them to come & explain us some things regarding the pochoirs because it stated to wait for staff to open the drawers. I hate feeling like I need to disturb the staff to ask for things but I also feel like a staff member should be where the paints are to help people find things.
I paid & I went to the bathroom before leaving to go home & I heard staff members speaking to each others on the other side of the door saying « I guess because of inflation people don't pay anymore » when I literally gave a 2$ tip on a 2,50$ tea.... That was a nice night but I don't think I'll come back because of the staff
via LibroA nice place to go relax & paint :) the only point I would improve would be to serve food as their kitchen was closed at the time we went (7pm). They were only serving cold drinks (soda, juice, iced tea)
via LibroIt is a nice outing with my grandkids. This day due to a birthday party & end of March break it was very busy & quite noisy. The area where you pick up the paints gets quite congested & some of the young adult clients didn't seem to get that the kids were there to get paint too. Some paints were unavailable but staff did help. It is definitely not an inexpensive outing.

This was our second ti e here & the only issues we found both times is that the brushes at the paint station on the table are not washed & ready for our reservation & the service is super slow to come explain to us what to do, take our food order & bring our food
via LibroI wish that the staff of 4 girl that were working were actually working. Once we got settled to our table the girl said she would be back to explain & write down our table number & ceramic number. Nope NEVER HAPPENED. I could understand if it was crazy busy but 2 of the 4 girls where just hugging one another & chatting with each other & running to the back & checking there phones. ALOT of paint bottle in the back all empty . Couldn't get help to replenish them so I just did it myself . After an hours I finally just went up to the counter asked the girl to write down our table number & ceramics & asked for a cappuccino & a lemonade took 15min. Wtf . extremely disappointed I did not tip. However I enjoyed painting the ceramic piece I got I like the options that you have & the hourly price isn't too shabby, But pls get some people who can actually do there job.

A welcoming atmosphere. I walk with a cane & had no difficulty accessing the tables & the ceramics & paint
The staff was friendly. I took my cousin & her daughter. We definitely could have used guidance in choosing our pieces as we all unwittingly picked complicated pieces that took too long to paint, but we persisted
But the biggest problem was the food. Not only is it overpriced, but it is terrible. My cousin said it's the worst cup of coffee she's ever had. While I realize that you don't go to a ceramics café to eat, being able to enjoy a cup of coffee or snack while you paint for 3-4 hours (because you picked a difficult piece) should be okay to do
I would go back, but would pick a small piece & not order any food or drink

via LibroGreat place, nice atmosphere. Lot of choices of ceramics to paint! Food is good too. The only thing is that the price of ceramics is high combined with the studio entry price. It would be great to pay for the ceramics only but overall I would come back!
