Since 2012, it is managed by Louise Fontaine and Paola Cacopardo. The Ceramic Café in Laval has two floors and can accommodate up to 100 people, in fact groups of over 50 people regularly organize activities there. Honnêtement, l'idée est bonne, mais l'exécution n'est pas du tout satisfaisante. Tu y vas pour peindre de la céramique, mais les prix sont vraiment élevés. Les pièces que tu choisis sont déjà chères, & en plus il y a des frais supplémentaires qui s'ajoutent. En plus, tu ressens une pression au niveau du temps. Au lieu d'être une activité relaxante, ça devient une expérience stressante.
Great experience!! My first time coming to a place like this & it was amazing!! So many choices of ceramics, it took me a quite a while to pick one!! Lots of different paint colours as well, & they have great food & drinks on the menu!!
I came after supper so i only ordered a brownie & a hot chocolate, & it was the best brownie i've ever eaten.

A wonderful place, especially if you love arts & crafts. Usually, you can stay as long as you need, however during hilidays & school breaks, you're only given 2 hours to finish. Which may not be enough, depending on the project, of course. If you're new to painting, ask for help. The staff are extremely kind & helpful. They will actually walk you through the entire process, & help pick colours etc. I prefer their Laval location because it's easy to park, & the placebis really bright & spacious. A ton of ceramics to choose from. You can find anything from small cups, shot glasses, & figurines, to large salad bowls, serving platters, piggy banks & statuettes. Kids love it too :) The only problem is that once you try it you're hooked.
Belle expérience au Café Céramique. Il manquait un peu de personnel, mais les filles ont fait de leur mieux malgré tout. Nous avons quand même passé un bon moment. Je recommande vivement cette activité. 😉
La première fois que je suis allée au Céramic Café, j'ai eu une belle expérience.
Par contre, la deuxième fois, moyen. Il y avait une tache que je voulais faire partir & une employée m'a conseillé de sabler légèrement cette zone avec un papier sablé, mais résultat: le vernis ne tient pas sur cette cette zone. Ils ont essayé de venir à nouveau, mais cela demeure sans verni.
Au prix que l'on paie, j'ai trouvé ce conseil & résultat dommage...
P. S. : n'utilisez pas de papier sablé & dessinez par dessus le défaut ou la tache.
Une belle place avec une grande variété de choix de céramique à peindre. Nous n'avons pas attendu pour une place & le service était rapide, bouffe très bonne. Le seul bémol était que la musique était un peu agressante pour une activité dans ce genre. La grosse guitare & le chant heavy metal, rien contre ce genre musical mais ça me donnait mal à la tête. Peut-être revoir votre playlist
Friday night 7:30! Was told it's a 30minute wait, that they had no place. Asked about all the free tables, told the section is closed. Unacceptable. Over 5 employees in back of the counter. So I don't think it's a staff issue.
