Ceramic Café-Studio is a unique franchise! A ceramic painting studio, a coffee shop and a boutique all in one place. Since opening in 1997, people gather at Ceramic Café-Studio. Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished painter, alone, with family or friends, you can come and paint original ceramics, which are both personalized and practical. The famous paninis are well known, the smoothies are delicious and the coffee is comforting. The Ceramic Café in Laval opened its doors in 2000 at 565 boulevard Saint-Martin West, between Industrial and Laurentian boulevards, at the corner of Sun Valley Road. Since 2012, it is managed by Louise Fontaine and Paola Cacopardo. The Ceramic Café in Laval has two floors and can accommodate up to 100 people, in fact groups of over 50 people regularly organize activities there. Louise Fontaine and the Ceramic Café Laval team travel into the Laurentians and Lanaudière to provide ceramic painting activities to groups such as schools, day care, summer camps, office parties, showers, children's parties and other occasions. We waited over an hour for a panini. There was children running around the place while the customers were painting their pieces. The staff closed the kitchen earlier because of a potential rush of clients, but there was only a few table. The shop was supposed to close at 10pm but an hour prior the close they closed the music & ask people to go pay & clean up their table. The table are so small that it's difficult to fit your lunch, coffee, ceramic & paint on the table. When the customer next to us ask to put the table together, the staff refused due to potential customer than might arrived. However, a full section of the shop was closed.

J'ai mis 4 étoiles, car c'est un endroit pour relaxer, mais la musique est un peu agressante & les pièces de céramique pas mal chères, ce qui nous empêche d'y aller plus souvent. Par contre, la nourriture & le service sont supers.

A cute experience with your familypartner. Service was very slow, but can understand considering how busy it gets. Lots of options when it comes to ceramics, & paint. Pretty overpriced in my opinion. For two medium ceramics, an hour paint time, two teas plus tip the bill came to 100$. Was shocked as we thought it would be a more affordable date option. Fun experience but just prepare yourself for the extra fees.

Nous avons beaucoup adoré l'endroit & l'activité ! La nourriture était aussi bonne & l'endroit était bien entretenus.

A very interesting concept & effective environment for a cozy & relaxing-while-fun outing. Coffee while painting casually & socializing with friends & family, couldn't ask for more in terms of a chill activity. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that there is not really any new material (painting molds) over time, I visit once a year at most & it always seems to be the same stock (or at least the same ideas). Also they force a 15% tip on big (6+) groups but there doesn't seem to be any service so I don't get the deal with tipping here. I do recommend taking on this activity at least once in your lifetime but it's not on my frequent list.

Always a fun time at ceramic cafe. Only thing I wish would be different would be to spread people out more. A whole section was unused but everyone was packed next to eachother with little room to work.

L'expérience globale était pas mal... le petit bémol que j'exprime concerne le bruit ambiant. Il y a une musique de fond qu'on entend à peine à cause du bruit & par dessus, beaucoup d'enfants qui crient.
Peu reposant, mais l'expérience de peinture sur céramique vaut la peine malgré tout. Peut-être en évitant les fins de semaine, il y a moins de bruit.

Très bel accueil, merci beaucoup! Mention spéciale à votre très gentille serveuse qui a discuté de jeux vidéo & de pokemon avec nos garçons & qui a pris soin de me diriger vers la table à langer pour bébé. Excellent service.

Beaucoup de gens, des gens un peu impatients car visiblement manque de personnel. Le personnel présent était génial cependant, belle activité!
Les réservations devraient être obligatoires & par bloc de 2h par exemple, ainsi moins de confusion pour les impatients qui piquent des colères à vos employés car l'attente peut être longue sans réservation.

Accueil rapide mais service à la table a pris 20 minutes avant que quelqu'un vienne nous demander si nous voulions quelque chose à boire. Une fois que la serveuse est venue, le service était correct.

Ma petite fille & moi avons eu beaucoup de plaisir & ça à cause du personnel très gentil & attentionné, c'est facile & rien de compliqué pour entreprendre des projets, bien hâte d'y retourner, merci 😊
