Ceramic Café-Studio is a unique franchise! A ceramic painting studio, a coffee shop and a boutique all in one place. Since opening in 1997, people gather at Ceramic Café-Studio. Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished painter, alone, with family or friends, you can come and paint original ceramics, which are both personalized and practical. The famous paninis are well known, the smoothies are delicious and the coffee is comforting. The Ceramic Café in Laval opened its doors in 2000 at 565 boulevard Saint-Martin West, between Industrial and Laurentian boulevards, at the corner of Sun Valley Road. Since 2012, it is managed by Louise Fontaine and Paola Cacopardo. The Ceramic Café in Laval has two floors and can accommodate up to 100 people, in fact groups of over 50 people regularly organize activities there. Louise Fontaine and the Ceramic Café Laval team travel into the Laurentians and Lanaudière to provide ceramic painting activities to groups such as schools, day care, summer camps, office parties, showers, children's parties and other occasions. Review Summary

Overall, Céramic Café is a fun, creative spot with a wide range of ceramics, paints and textures that appeals to families, couples and groups looking for a relaxed, hands on activity. Reviews frequently praise the friendly staff, the welcoming atmosphere and the option to eat or drink while decorating. However, several comments note that prices can be high and some charges for time or table service feel steep, with a few experiences reporting slow or inconsistent service, crowds and noise during peak times. The seating can be tight and some guests mention limited kid friendly spaces. Despite these issues, the activity itself and the final pieces are often described as beautiful and satisfying, and many reviewers plan to return, sometimes using coupons to improve value. Overall, it is a popular, enjoyable experience with caveats about cost and crowding that vary by location and time.

Always a hit or miss. Don't bother asking for help at this place you won't get it! However, the concept is nice. Bit expensive though.

It was my first time here, & I have never painted ceramics before. So I would say it is very beginner friendly, but I had to take myself through the whole process. You are seated & fill out a form with your name & number. Then when that is done, walk up stairs & choose what you want to paint. Each item is labeled with a price. Bring it back to your table & a waitress will mark down which ceramics you chose & explain a bit how it goes & take the drink or food order. Your time starts now. They charge a few dollars for each hour you are painting. I painted 2 items in 2-3 hours & had a London fog tea. The whole experience cost about 50$ & was nice. You are asked to return in 10 days to pick up the ceramic items. They hold the item for 2 months, & will not call. I will update my review when I pick up my ceramics. I could have used a bit more guidance with what to do with my paints, or how to use the stickers or stencils they have available. But it's not an art class, it's a Cafe. I had a good time solo & saw a lot of groups & a few couples.

Great experience. Only complaint is after we ordered once the staff didnt come back for long. Neither to take my coffee irder or to pick up the dirty dishes.... Didnt spoil the experience. The tables could be a bit bigger. Ince you got food. No space

Very good service from Helena, she was very fast & friendly. She explained the whole process to us & came to check up often which made the experience very pleasant. She was a very efficient & positive worker.

So, the wifey & I dove into this ceramic fiesta, armed with brushes & dreams of crafting masterpieces. It was a blast, creativity soaring & all, but my wallet was giving me the side-eye like, "Bro, we didn't sign up for a Picasso budget." This place is like the ceramic version of a five-star restaurant - fancy but with a bill that makes you question your life choices. We had fun, but our piggy bank is currently on strike, demanding better wages. I get it; they're probably funding the next ceramic revolution with those prices. :) If you're rolling in dough or maybe even spare change, it's a top-tier pottery party. But if you're on a first-name basis with your budget, you might want to unleash your artistic genius with crayons at home. Same vibe, different price tag. Ilhan
