Ceramic Café-Studio is a unique franchise! A ceramic painting studio, a coffee shop and a boutique all in one place. Since opening in 1997, people gather at Ceramic Café-Studio. Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished painter, alone, with family or friends, you can come and paint original ceramics, which are both personalized and practical. The famous paninis are well known, the smoothies are delicious and the coffee is comforting. The Ceramic Café in Laval opened its doors in 2000 at 565 boulevard Saint-Martin West, between Industrial and Laurentian boulevards, at the corner of Sun Valley Road. Since 2012, it is managed by Louise Fontaine and Paola Cacopardo. The Ceramic Café in Laval has two floors and can accommodate up to 100 people, in fact groups of over 50 people regularly organize activities there. Louise Fontaine and the Ceramic Café Laval team travel into the Laurentians and Lanaudière to provide ceramic painting activities to groups such as schools, day care, summer camps, office parties, showers, children's parties and other occasions. Really fun & relaxing place to go to! Went with my friend on a friday night & it was a really nice & cozy place to spend the evening. We really enjoyed painting our ceramics over conversation. We ate nachos & drank hot chocolate, the nachos weren't the best but it was a good snack. The staff is super friendly. The pain also doesn't stain at all so it's ideal for painting anxiety-free especially with children!

I came with my daughter & her friend to celebrate their birthday. It's a really nice place with lots of options of ceramics to paint. I got a voucher on Tuango for 10$ for 2 people for studio time since I can get expensive with buying the piece, the studio time, & food. It's a nice place to have a coffee & just relax & paint.

The staff were nice, the place is clean, the only thing that bothered a little was how cramped the seats were. Once everybody was seated, we had to excuse ourselves through people. Which was a little stressful, especially walking through with a toddler, as they were painting.

We waited over an hour for a panini. There was children running around the place while the customers were painting their pieces. The staff closed the kitchen earlier because of a potential rush of clients, but there was only a few table. The shop was supposed to close at 10pm but an hour prior the close they closed the music & ask people to go pay & clean up their table. The table are so small that it's difficult to fit your lunch, coffee, ceramic & paint on the table. When the customer next to us ask to put the table together, the staff refused due to potential customer than might arrived. However, a full section of the shop was closed.

A cute experience with your familypartner. Service was very slow, but can understand considering how busy it gets. Lots of options when it comes to ceramics, & paint. Pretty overpriced in my opinion. For two medium ceramics, an hour paint time, two teas plus tip the bill came to 100$. Was shocked as we thought it would be a more affordable date option. Fun experience but just prepare yourself for the extra fees.

A very interesting concept & effective environment for a cozy & relaxing-while-fun outing. Coffee while painting casually & socializing with friends & family, couldn't ask for more in terms of a chill activity. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that there is not really any new material (painting molds) over time, I visit once a year at most & it always seems to be the same stock (or at least the same ideas). Also they force a 15% tip on big (6+) groups but there doesn't seem to be any service so I don't get the deal with tipping here. I do recommend taking on this activity at least once in your lifetime but it's not on my frequent list.

Went during the week at 7pm. It wasn't too full which was nice. The place itself was great. However, their food wasn't the best. Besides that, the variety of articles to paint is amazing, my friend & I had a hard time choosing ours! Overall a nice experience.

The ceramic painting experience was fun & they had all necessary materials needed to create beautiful art.
The service (ordering, receiving food & drinks, help with any questions) was very poor. Enjoyed the experience but would not go back to this location.
