Casa Grecque est largement salué pour sa nourriture excellente et ses portions généreuses, pour un service attentif et une ambiance chaleureuse qui convient autant aux repas en famille ou entre amis qu'aux grandes réceptions grâce à des espaces privés et à la possibilité d'apporter son vin. Des bémols reviennent toutefois lorsque les événements spéciaux ou les heures de pointe donnent lieu a une organisation un peu chaotique et a des lenteurs occasionnelles, et quelques clients mentionnent des expériences variables selon les plats ou le niveau d'anticipation du service. Dans l'ensemble, les avis convergent vers une expérience plaisante, avec des plats grecs savoureux, une atmosphère rénovée et un personnel qui sait s'adapter, ce qui pousse de nombreux convives a recommander ce lieu pour des rassemblements, des anniversaires et des repas entre amis.
I organized a Wine Tasting & Dinner event at Casa Grecque LaSalle for retired administrators. The event was a huge success in large part to the delicious food & exceptional wait staff. Due to the event being a wine tasting, we needed to have 4 wine glasses per person - the restaurant very willingly obliged. They set up the room perfectly, & anything we needed, they promptly provided. We had a set menu of about 5 choices for the main course & the meal included soup, salad, rice & potatoes, dessert & coffee - all for a very reasonable price. Everyone I spoke to enjoyed their meal & the portion size. The vegetable brochettes were delicious & very much appreciated by our vegetarian members. It was very easy to make the reservation. I want to thank Spiro, the manager for his generosity, & the wait staff for their very positive & pleasant service. I would highly recommend Casa Grecque LaSalle for any large group event.
The food is delicious & the service is excellent as well! Our waiter was very nice & funny with everyone (yesterday at around 5). The restaurant is very clean & the layout is beautiful. Best lasagna & they offered us lots of bread 🙂 the prices & portions are very good too!

Updated Nov. 2025: Well, we/they did it again! This time we'd given without hesitation 6 stars for the overall quality & especially for the combo Food/Service/Atmosphere if it were an option.
- premises renovated, logically crowded, especially on week-ends but everything is perfectly managed & taken care of;
- previous overall already 5 stars dinner experience even better now;
- been taken care personnally by the delightful Ayu & her teammates;
- even the owner Spiro honoured us with his touching presence to pay his respects on this birthday occasion;
- & so on, & so on...
One cannot ask for more than that...

Overall, an absolutely delightful dinner experience on the occasion of wife's birthday (20+ years together). We enjoyed everything: the meal quality & freshness, the ambience, the value for the price, etc.
The service was top quality (greatly improved from an already high quality one a year ago).
We'd love to visit again. We'd highly recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner.
Psst! A friendly tip for an optimal dinner experience like ours: do try to obtain to be taken care by the waitress named Ayu who was simply amazing, friendly & caring, she'll most certainly make you feel cozy & at home (but an improved one, especially the cuisine & the service) …

Amazing resto, I went there for my friend's birthday! Let me tell you, respectful waiters, amazing food with all prices not TOO pricey for a top quality restaurant, great ambiance with laughter! We brought our own cake & they lit it up for us & brought it in singing!! So sweet, definitely recommend!! P.S. You cannot bring your own drinks.

Casa Grecque is my family's favorite restaurant in Lasalle.Food is good, price is reasonable. Servers are very friendly.However,their Menu Is very sticky & I hope the Servers realized it needs to be wiped or cleaned.
Decided to give Casa Grec another try for their Friday lunch special, & honestly, I left disappointed. While most spots offer lunch deals until 3 p.m., which was convenient, that's about the only positive thing I can say.
The vibe? Dead. Aside from a few folks over 65, the place felt lifeless. What used to be a charming touch-the basket of warm bread & butter-has now been swapped for hard, weirdly toasted garlic bread that tasted stale & uninspired.
We started with their complimentary soup, which is supposed to be chicken noodle. What we got was a creamy, dill-heavy concoction that didn't resemble chicken noodle in taste or appearance. Just… no.
I ordered the shrimp special. While the salad dressing is still a hit (it's the one thing they've consistently done right), the rest of the plate fell flat. The shrimps were tiny-like laughably small. Presentation? Nonexistent. Across the street at au Vieux Duluth , they serve shrimp twice the size, & their portions (salad, rice, potatoes) are far more generous!!!!!!
Let's talk about the calamari. We ordered it as an add-on & regretted it instantly. It was rubbery, flavorless, & served with a cheap cocktail sauce you'd expect from a frozen shrimp ring. We decided to pack it up to go, but the smell was so foul in the car-like actual rotten fish-that we had to pull over, find a garbage can, & toss it out. Zero stars. Do not eat that.🤮
My boyfriend's steak? A total joke. We asked for medium, got a dry, rubbery well-done mess that looked like it had been through war. He barely touched it. There sauce/ gravy is good & that the only reason we / me chose this place to eat in the first place.
This used to be a place my mother-in-law would order from for New Year's. I've told her to stop-there's just no quality here anymore. The ambiance isn't inviting, the food isn't worth the price (I paid $19.95 for four mini shrimp), & I wouldn't consider it for celebrations, date nights, or honestly anything.
I've been a Yelp Elite for 12 years & I review restaurants professionally-this one is a hard pass. Maybe it was something 20 years ago, but it's definitely not it today.
I had the butterfly shrimp lunch special, & my mum had the hamburger steak. It had been years since I've visited Casa Grecque. Typical Greek favorites & BYOW, Accommodate groups of all sizes, as there's something for everyone. Portion sizes have been greatly reduced, but it was enough for us, & the price is fair. Parking is plentiful. No complaints.
Food was ok. The lasagna for kids is a no for me , managers please fix it. Everything else was good. Nice place with rooms for parties or events. Prices is very reasonable.
I honestly like this family resto but this time it was so disappointing I don't know when we will ever go back. I know they are very busy but we were seated at the very last table next to the kitchen..unbelieveably loud noise from crashing plates, yelling orders, we couldn't hear ourselves talk. The most upsetting is that we could see ALL staff working in kitchen were not wearing any hair nets. I saw at least one waiter putting a big shrimp onto a skewer for a drink, using bare hands. When I pointed this out to our waiter he said it was odd in light of the fact there had been an inspection just a couple days before. The owners/managers were there & should have had more sanitary control. For the price, I think we will find another place with stricter food standards, esp. before covid or other health bugs start resurfacing in the Fall. Sorry Casa Grecque.
