Updated Nov. 2025: Well, we/they did it again! This time we'd given without hesitation 6 stars for the overall quality & especially for the combo Food/Service/Atmosphere if it were an option.
- premises renovated, logically crowded, especially on week-ends but everything is perfectly managed & taken care of;
- previous overall already 5 stars dinner experience even better now;
- been taken care personnally by the delightful Ayu & her teammates;
- even the owner Spiro honoured us with his touching presence to pay his respects on this birthday occasion;
- & so on, & so on...
One cannot ask for more than that...

Overall, an absolutely delightful dinner experience on the occasion of wife's birthday (20+ years together). We enjoyed everything: the meal quality & freshness, the ambience, the value for the price, etc.
The service was top quality (greatly improved from an already high quality one a year ago).
We'd love to visit again. We'd highly recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner.
Psst! A friendly tip for an optimal dinner experience like ours: do try to obtain to be taken care by the waitress named Ayu who was simply amazing, friendly & caring, she'll most certainly make you feel cozy & at home (but an improved one, especially the cuisine & the service) …

Amazing resto, I went there for my friend's birthday! Let me tell you, respectful waiters, amazing food with all prices not TOO pricey for a top quality restaurant, great ambiance with laughter! We brought our own cake & they lit it up for us & brought it in singing!! So sweet, definitely recommend!! P.S. You cannot bring your own drinks.

Review for Casa Greque - Lasalle (Newman Location)
This isn't my first time dining at Casa Greque in Lasalle on Newman, & once again, it did not disappoint. The place is always busy, which speaks volumes about its popularity & consistent quality.
What truly stands out is the exceptional team led by the owner, Spiro. After observing their professionalism, calm demeanor, & courteous service, even during peak hours, I have to say, this is a dream team any restaurant would be lucky to have.
From the warm welcome at the front host stand, to the attentiveness of the waiters & waitresses, all the way to the cooks in the kitchen working tirelessly behind the scenes, the dedication of the entire staff is truly admirable.
Despite the rush, they manage to greet every guest warmly, serve dishes in an impressively short time, & maintain top-notch service throughout. The food, as always, is excellent.
Highly recommend Casa Greque for anyone looking for great food, quick service, & a team that truly cares.

What an absolutely incredible experience at Casa Grecque! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms & amazing hospitality. A huge thank you to the wonderful manager, Spiros, who truly saved the day! We completely forgot that you can bring your own wine, but Spiros was quick to reserve our spot so we could grab a couple of bottles to enjoy with our meal. 🍷✨
The service was impeccable, everyone was so attentive, friendly, & genuinely caring!! & the food? Divine doesn't even begin to cover it! Every dish was bursting with flavor & made with so much heart. ❤?

Had the catering service the food was delicious & they gave us everything we needed,plates,cutlery,serving spoons,tongs,napkins & even a garbage bag. I highly recommend this & will definitely order again.

Our experience at the restaurant was fantastic, from the initial greeting right through to the end. Our waiter was very polite, attentive & provided expectional service. The manager Spiro went above an beyond to make sure all his customers were satisfied & were enjoying their meals. The restaurant atmosphere was alive with laughter, people celebrating with their families & having a great time. We recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a great meal surrounded by a great atmosphere & amazing service. We were traveling through Montreal from Manitoba & will never forget this place. Samedi, 31 janvier 2015 serice de 17h30 pour un groupe de 15 personnes, Service pourri; serveur impoli.
J'ai dû demander un banc d'appoint 3 fois avant de l'avoir (& c'est le busboy qui l'a donné); mon entrée a été servi après mon repas principal (); ma fille de 3 ans a attendu après que tout le monde soit servi pour avoir son plat (de spaghetti!!!!) & ce n'était même pas le bon plat qui lui a servi en premier (elle a attendu 10 min de plus!); Il lui a donné son jus (un jus!!!) 45 minutes après être arrivées!
En plus d’avoir un service médiocre, le serveur était impoli & beaucoup trop familier avec la clientèle. Le serveur tutoie les gens autour de la table & appelle le chum de mon ami (qui a 45 ans environ) « Bonhomme ». Il demande à une autre personne : « Toé, tu veux quoi comme dessert? ». Je demande que je puisse apportez le repas de ma fille à la maison, car « elle a attendu trop longtemps & ça lui a coupé l’appétit » (C’est vrai, ma fille est comme ça.) Il me répond : « Elle n’a même pas attendu si longtemps que ça. Seulement 10 minutes de plus »! Je lui donne tout de même donne 5% au serveur (quand même!) & il me lance la monnaie en disant qu’il ne la veut pas.
Ambiance très bruyante & peu d’espace pour se mouvoir. Les tables des groupes sont très proches les unes des autres. Nous nous sommes faits regardés par le gérant, le serveur & une personne qui travaillait au restaurant pour que l’on puisse partir le plus vite possible parce que le resto attendait un autre groupe ... ce que nous s'avions pas du tout lors de la réservation ni au courant du repas. ...
Nourriture passable, mais chérant pour ce que c'est.
Je ne recommande pas ce resto ni aucun Restaurant Casa Grecque!
