We were celebrating a significant birthday for our son on the day of St. Fermin - That's the day the running of the bulls start in Pamplona, Spain. Walking into Casa Galicia felt like walking into a classic restaurant in Spain, except the service was a lot faster ;-)
Sadly, we didn't ask his name, but the server was a wonderful man. He spoke French, Spanish English, & likely another language or two & flowed between them as necessary. He made us laugh & didn't miss a detail. It seemed like he was born to care for clients.
We enjoyed every bite of food & a fantastic sangria.

This was an amazing place. The waiter was very cordial & served the food always with a nice comment & jokes. He made sure the ladies felt well attended & gave us a small'gift from his place of origin'. When we heard we were celebrating my son's b-day he came out with a piece of cake & spoons for everyone. If you're in Montreal, do yourself a favor & head straight to Casa Galicia. Without a doubt, it was the highlight of my trip. From the out-of-this-world mussels to the lobster & seafood paella, & the 10/10 tableside espresso martini hand-shaken by the incredible owner, David-everything was top-notch! When we couldn't decide on dessert, David took it a step further & created a dessert tasting board so we wouldn't miss a thing.
David & Fiero went above & beyond to make us feel like part of their family. The service was truly one of the best I've ever experienced! The flamenco performance added the perfect touch to the lively, fun atmosphere, making for an unforgettable evening. The cozy, welcoming vibe, delicious food, & amazing drinks are something you absolutely have to experience for yourself!!

Absolutely unforgettable time here! The live flamenco added incredible energy, the drinks were AMAZING (best dirty martini I've ever had), & the atmosphere was electric. The mussels were hands down the best I've ever tasted-so much flavor in that sauce.
But what truly made the night was the service. Our waiter Firo was awesome-attentive, friendly, funny & on point with every detail. Huge shoutout to David, the owner, whose warmth & hospitality took the experience to another level. The best service I've ever had at a restaurant.
Can't wait to come back!

Dear Montreal, I don't usually make google reviews often however from my experience tonight, I made sure I had to make one for Casa Galicia! This was NOT written by ChatGPT!
We ordered the paella, the mussels, the lobster soup & a couple drinks for the table. The food was absolutely amazing! While we were waiting for the food to come out, we were delighted with an amazing guitarist & dancer. The atmosphere was so captivating that I could see everyone's eyes locked onto the stage. Also the desserts were fantastic too! We had the house cake & Portuguese tarts!
Lastly & most importantly, the service is what stood out the most. Every server was fantastic & treated us like family. We were able to meet David the wonderful & extremely kind owner of the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in MONTREAL. Thank you, what a night to remember.Voir plus
Wow! The food is absolutely incredible. My boyfriend & I had the Valencia Discovery Menu & every dish was so good. The sangria was also top notch. We ate outside & the ambiance was wonderful. You can still hear the great music but you're able to still have great conversations. The real star of the show was the service. Our waiter Firo so absolutely the highlight. Everything was prompt, we were checked on the appropriate amount of times & he engaged us in lively & fun conversation- I'd go back just for him! Having a meal at Casa Galicia felt like being transported to Spain. The restaurant is very charming, & it's clear how much hard work has been put into every detail to make the experience as immersive as possible. The food was excellent, but what stood out to me the most was the service & hospitality that Firo & Ley showed. You can truly see the passion they have for making each customer's experience unique & memorable. I will definitely come back-the name of the restaurant truly speaks for itself. Quelle belle découverte ! Nous avons adoré notre expérience au Casa Galicia. La nourriture était incroyable - le poulpe grillé était tendre & savoureux, la paella aux fruits de mer bien garnie & pleine de goût, & les crevettes à l'ail tout simplement délicieuses.
& la sangria… wow ! C'est sans doute la meilleure qu'on ait jamais goûtée - fraîche, fruitée, parfaitement équilibrée.
Le service était exceptionnel. Notre serveur, qui était aussi le propriétaire (je pense qu'il s'appelait David), a été chaleureux, attentionné & vraiment passionné. Il a pris le temps de jaser avec nous & de s'assurer qu'on avait tout ce qu'il nous fallait.

Went there with a group of 20 for a birthday, the ambiance was very nice & the flamenco show was fantastic.
The waiter was awesome, courteous & funny. The staff as a whole was very kind.
The food was phenomenal, we ordered paella, filet mignon, chicken, & everyone loved it. The paellas were so packed with flavour & safran.
