This vibrant Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem-perfect for a fun & memorable night out. The lively, colourful atmosphere set the right tone for the evening. The food was delicious, with authentic Mexican dishes prepared with care, & the cocktails were top-notch. The service was friendly & attentive, & the thoughtful décor & small touches really added to the experience. Special thanks to our waiter & to Fatima. We had a wonderful time & will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Between the atmosphere, the food & the service, it's hard to pick out what this place does best because everything has so much care & love put into it.
The place itself feels like Mexico, everything is decorated authentically & with love. Their menus tell the story of the inspiration behind the food & every inch of the place conveys culture, family & love.
The food was packed with flavor. Every bite is hand crafted to deliver a Mexican experience. The family behind this is clearly sharing their culture with intent & joy.
Pablo was an incredible server & took care of us with nice little attentions.
Overall it was an unforgettable experience that will keep us coming back. Thank you Pablo & the entire kitchen team at Casa Azul!

Went in because of the happy hour & stayed because of the hospitality, the drinks were amazing & the Chile en nogada was delicious & authentic too, really my favourite mexican restaurant from now on

Visited Casa Azul for the first time yesterday & it was fabulous! Our server Pablo was amazing & so kind. The atmosphere, decor & dishes provided an authentic mexican feel with an artistic touch. I really enjoyed looking through the images of Frida Kahlo in the menu. 100% going back again!

Outstanding Mexican restaurant. It differs from the rest by serving quality & authentic dishes. Most Mexican restaurants in the city try to bulk up your plate with extra rice & tortillas. Casa Azul offers well-prepared reasonable portions. *If you're a drinker be prepared to pay close to 20$ per mixed drink.

As a Mexican, I can confidently say that this restaurant is the real deal! The food tastes just like what you'd find back home. The molcajete was an absolute standout-full of flavor & perfectly seasoned. The moles were rich, complex, & took me straight back to my grandma's kitchen. & the margaritas? On point! The balance of flavors was perfect, & they really know how to mix a drink. The staff was incredibly attentive & welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The ambiance truly transported me to Mexico-beautiful décor, vibrant colors, & the music made me feel right at home. If you're craving authentic Mexican food, this place is a must. Highly recommended!

A cozy & beautifully decorated Mexican restaurant in Montreal! They offer a wide variety of fresh & delicious Mexican dishes, along with great drink options, especially if you're a fan of mezcal. The Alma Negra mezcal is highly recommended. The staff are incredibly welcoming & friendly. I celebrated a surprise birthday here, & I truly appreciated the thoughtful gestures from the team. It's a wonderful spot for authentic Mexican food & a vibrant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

We went there with our Mexican friends, so I feel like it should be quite authentic, at least the atmosphere was. We got a big plate (Molcajete Carne) full of different meats, surely a good choice for meat lovers & of course it would be enough for two persons. I absolutely recommend their Mezcals (go with Alma Negra), fantastic drink! Also if you'd like to get a nonalcoholic drink, I really liked their Aguas Frescas.

I recently dined at the newly opened Mexican restaurant, & it was an absolute delight! The vibrant ambiance, coupled with attentive service, created a fantastic dining experience. The menu showcased a diverse array of authentic Mexican flavors, each dish bursting with freshness & authenticity. The chef's attention to detail truly stood out, making every bite a culinary adventure. From the mouthwatering tacos to the delectable desserts, every aspect exceeded my expectations. Stunning new restaurant with incredible authentic Mexican food. The romantic high ceilings, oversized plants & music make you feel like you're on vacation. The space itself seems very well-suited to private events & special occasions. We enjoyed the chile nogada very much & look forward to trying other dishes. Service could use some fine-tuning - the desserts were very dry & the dulce de leche dessert was almost inedible, but our server did not notice or inquire when it was left almost untouched. The espresso was also charged incorrectly (but the owners offered to refund it immediately).
