The pastries are absolutely delicious & the best part is that they're NOT overly sweet. You can taste each individual ingredient. The fruit. The cheese. The dough. The slight sweetness. They're fresh & absolutely worth every single penny.
& bonus points... Carlotta is the sweetest person in the world!

Delicious! Grabbed a few pastries (one with dulce de lèche, large cookie, corn muffin) & all were amazing. Made with fresh ingredients. & service was 15/10 - very kind staff. Definitely coming back!
They offer a great variety of confections & pastries that are otherwise hard to find in Montreal & they make them quite well too!
I would recommend that everyone should try one of their pastries that have dulce de leche. Personally, the roulé keeps me coming back here for more!
Such a lovely little boulangerie tucked away in Mile End serving the most amazing pastries & excellent espresso/caffeinated beverages. The roulé de goyave y queso was mouthwatering & an appropriately rich accompaniment to a nice coffee. Everything else looked fresh & delicious, & the decor was cute & on point, too. Very memorable. Check this place out!
it makes me so happy to stop here for a sweet treat when I'm in the neighborhood. The staff are always welcoming & kind... pastries are so soft & perfect & taste just like the ones I would get in my favorite bakeries back home :) I recommend to try as many as you can (conchas are a must). There is a variety of other products like coffee, handmade items, food etc. They also do workshops to learn how to make the bread yourself which is really cool, hope I can take one soon! side note the cups are so cute 💖 more people should know about this place, keep up the good work guys
I don't know if there are any other Mexican bakeries in Montreal, but I doubt anyone can find anything better than Carlota, their pastries are supreme. I had one of the best Pan de Muerto I've had in my life, not even in Mexico you can find something this good.
The most innovative bakery I've ever been to. Best pastries bursting with flavor. I cannot express how crispy yet fluffy their croissant like inventions are. & if you are Cuban, the guava & cheese pastry is better than anything you've ever had anywhere, including Miami. The best part? The vibe. They have some ancestral magick all up in there!!!!
Stopped by for some treats for a friend & decided to try some sweets for ourselves. The pastries were some of the best treats we have ever tried. The person helping us was helpful & very nice! I will be back every time I visit Montreal!
What a beautiful panadería, they create magic by making delightful mexican pastries. I thank Carlota for dignifying mexican bread through love, hard work & authenticity. The textures, flavor, service, impeccable, it is quite an experience out of this world & to be honest I happily state that it is an honor to have Carlota in this magnificent city. This place is a gem. Absolutely delicious & authentic Oaxaca pastries, great coffees, horchata & Mexican hot chocolate. Incredibly friendly service & they will explain all of their delicious treats to you. Definitely worth a visit!
I love this bakery/cafe! Everyone is so friendly & welcoming. Their coffee is delicious & the authentic Mexican pastries are even better. I just had their in house baked rosemary/oregano bread for the first time today & I can't stop eating it. So fresh & full of herbs, I'm obsessed.. 100/10
Incredible pastries with full mastery of technics! One of the best pastries I've had in MTL. flavours are just out of this world & quality is everything. & really nice !!!!
This place is AMAZING!!! Wonderful quality of pastries & coffee. Mine was filled with dulce de leche & almost made me cry. *Perfect *yeasted laminated dough. Staff super friendly & atmosphere very welcome. A must when in Montreal!!! MUCHAS GRACIAS
