CARIBOU GOURMAND?

EVERYTHING STARTS WITH A NICKNAME

In addition to being the emblematic animal of Quebec, we were so called "the Caribou" during our visits to France, that it was obvious to borrow the name from this large deer.

French expatriates for several years and very attached to our gourmet roots, it is in Quebec that we decided to drop our bags, and it is a pleasure for us to share with you our love of cooking by combining gourmet seasonal ingredients, our French roots and Quebec influences, in an atmosphere that invites relaxation and conviviality ...

Really nice Sunday brunch. The dishes are very yummy & fresh. The place was packed on Sunday brunch, so definitely recommend you make a reservation a few days ahead of time. I forgot the name of my partner's dish but it was composed of mushrooms, cheese, potatoes some greens, & an egg on top (the whole thing in the oven). I had the caribou (meat) platter - I really enjoyed my dish, but the winner was that oven dish my partner had!

Quoique le menu réservé aux plats était varié & alléchant, la sélection des desserts ne nous a pas titillé. Quant au "dingo" ça s'est avéré décevant.

We were very happy with this find: gourmet dishes that are reasonably priced, low key relaxing atmosphere. Caribou appetizer platter was great, all main dishes were wonderful: bison, fish & pasta with duck. Highly recommend!
