For drinks we had a pisco sour (a classic), & the Rosa do Botija (like a salty gin martini - delicous!). For appetizers we had the Pulpo & the Tiradito - both really had amazing combinations of flavours. The octopus & olive combination was delicious. For entrees we had the lasagna & the short ribs. There was a slight delay getting the mains, but I feel that's pretty normal given that it's a new restaurant. The lasagna was great, though would have been cool to have more of a Peruvian twist on it. The short ribs & gnocchi was mindblowing. I will definitely get that again. We wanted to try another dish, so we had the Melosito di Mariscos, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Next time, I want to try the carbonara. One of the highlights was our waitress, Asia (hope I spelled that right!). She was super friendly, made lots of great suggestions on what to get, & gave us truly excellent service. Capisco was a lovely choice to enjoy our first meal in Old Montreal. The Endive salad was light & refreshing & generous enough to share. The Anancini appetizer was hearty with a sauce that made you want to lick your plate clean. Our main course was the Short Ribs Lomosaltado. It had so many textures in one dish. The creamy gnocchi, sweet soft tomato, crunchy fried onion, stir fried onion, flavorful beef & huancaina cheese sauce all made the dish quite memorable. We finished with creme brulee cheese cake & latte. The staff were sincere in their desire to make our meal memorable. It was a delicious start to enjoy Montreal.Voir plus
