Amazing place :) I'm Peruvian & I recommend it to everyone, it's a must try place♥?View more
Very interesting & delicious peruvian/italian dishes in Montreal! I tried the capelottis of aji de gallina in huancaina sauce, the recommendation of the chef, the arancinis of duck & huancaina sauce, some lucuma ice cream & the classic pisco sour, it does not appear in the menu but just ask in the bar & also a passion fruit pisco sour! Cozy & welcoming environment & attentive staff, totally recommended spot! Just 4 stars because as a peruvian, I like bigger portions of food 😅View more
Delicious food but the Italian side is more well done than the Peruvian side of the fusion. Carbonara was fantastic. Ceviche was tasty but tiny. I'd skip the Brisket Lomo Saltado.View more
We had a great experience in this new restaurant! At first I was skeptic of a fusion between Peruvian & Italian food, but I must admit they achieve it perfectly & very creatively too; the Tiradito Capresse is a great proof of that. They also have some traditional Peruvian dishes like Pan Con Chicharrón which I cannot recommend enough.
Something else that pleased me a lot is that although it is around the same price point as Tiradito, I found the servings to be much more generous here. You can easily order for 2 people with $100 (not accounting for drinks)View more
Nice Peruvian-Italian fusion restaurant in old port. Atmosphere inside was nice, & the restaurant was nicely decorated. Staff was kind & spends awhile going through their seemingly complex menu. I'd say the appetizers here are what make the restaurant special, they were honestly very good. Their brisket main dish was also good, but a bit salty. Overall a nice new spot.View more
Such a great place in a top MTL location. Don't expect traditional Italian or Peruvian cuisine but a delicious fusion. Each dish I tried was a lovely culinary experience. My favs are the Tiradito, Ceviche & Chicharron sandwich. Def one of my new fav go to restaurants.View more
What an awesome place! The service was incredible & the food was amazing. I loved this Italian/Peruvian mix! The ambience & decoration of the space was cozy & beautiful. & I also can say the drinks were the best I have ever tried. 5/5View more
Finally a Peruvian restaurant in the Old Port & it's now the best restaurant in the neighbourhood. Octopus with this olive sauce is diiiivine. I cannot wait to come back. Must request anticuchos (duck hearts) back on the menu though❤️🇵🇪 love from a girl born in Cusco.View more
Great Peruvian food with an Italian twist right in Old MontrealView more
We had an awesome meal at Capisco. We really liked the decor & vibe when we walked in. For drinks we had a pisco sour (a classic), & the Rosa do Botija (like a salty gin martini - delicous!). For appetizers we had the Pulpo & the Tiradito - both really had amazing combinations of flavours. The octopus & olive combination was delicious. For entrees we had the lasagna & the short ribs. There was a slight delay getting the mains, but I feel that's pretty normal given that it's a new restaurant. The lasagna was great, though would have been cool to have more of a Peruvian twist on it. The short ribs & gnocchi was mindblowing. I will definitely get that again. We wanted to try another dish, so we had the Melosito di Mariscos, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Next time, I want to try the carbonara. One of the highlights was our waitress, Asia (hope I spelled that right!). She was super friendly, made lots of great suggestions on what to get, & gave us truly excellent service. Can't wait to go back to Capisco.View more
