I didn't understand the hype around this place; my friend brought me there for my birthday. The food is so overpriced. The waffle are really dense with a hard texture. They didn't even bring toast with my eggs & the portions were so small...
This gem in Montreal is my absolute go-to for outstanding breakfast, striking that perfect note of Parisian flair minus the side-eye. But here's a heads-up: they don't do reservations but it's worth every minute you might spend waiting. Breakfast was beautiful & healthy fresh not hidden under a questionable mystery sauce. They even swapped out the heart attack-inducing white salt for Himalayan pink salt - who thinks of these details? Aex, the epitome of hospitality does! We'll be back.
Best breakfast I've ever had. Would recommend the sweet & savory. 10/10 can't recommend enough. Its looks exactly like it sounds. It tastes exactly like it looks.
Great food, great vibe. I would post a picture of it, but i ate all my food too fast.
Exquisite! I ordered the St. Barth Benny with coffee & my husband ordered the Herby grilled chicken flatbread with an Oreo milkshake. It was amazing! That Oreo milkshake will live in our dreams forever. & those potatoes, I don't know what they do to them but they were baked to perfection. I was afraid that the dairy would give me cramps as it does in the US. None of the food & dairy ever gave me a stomach ache once in Montreal. I wish I could stay for that reason alone!
