Café Olimpico - Vieux-Montréal is a must-visit when in Canada. Yes, there was a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly & was absolutely worth the short wait. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was warm & welcoming - even the outdoor vibe felt cozy & full of life.
The drinks were incredible - truly the boost of energy you need to keep walking & exploring the beautiful city of Montreal. Rich flavors, perfectly balanced, & served with care. The desserts were equally impressive: high quality, fresh, & absolutely delicious.
If you're in Montréal, don't skip this spot. It's the kind of café that makes your day better, sip by sip.View more

LOVE this chain. I can't say enough good things about this place. We got the tirmisu, a cannoli, the remix & a mocha iced coffee. Both the drinks were great, I would get them again no doubt, as well as the sweets.
I will say though that the sizes are on the smaller size so keep that in mind, but I no doubt recommend this place to those coming into Montreal, it may be my favourite coffee I had in the city!View more

It's fine. I really enjoyed it last year, but this year it was a bit of a let down. The service this time was worse, & coffee wasnt as good. They forgot to make my drinks, when I reminded them they were grumpy rather than apologetic, & they made them incorrectly (they forgot to sweeten). I could've probably let them know it was wrong, but gave up at that pointView more

As a tourist in Montreal, I had about five days to hit up as many cafés & restaurants as I could. Café Olimpico kept popping up in TikTok recommendations, & while I'm usually skeptical of viral spots, curiosity got the best of me-& I'm so glad it did.
I ordered an affogato because I wanted to try something new that I don't usually get at cafés, & I love ice cream. It exceeded my expectations. I've honestly been thinking about that drink at least once a day since. The espresso-flavoured ice cream was amazing-not too sweet or overpowering, which I really appreciated-& the espresso itself stood out with bold, smooth flavour.
The day before, I'd gone to another hyped café where the coffee tasted burnt, so I wasn't expecting much. But this? Café Olimpico impressed me. I genuinely wish I had brought some coffee beans back with me.
The interior was cozy, welcoming, & full of character-the kind of place you just want to sit & take it all in. If I lived nearby, I know I'd be stopping in at least once every couple of weeks.View more

Just went to the Olimpico cafe in old port & the coffee was amazing!! They have a lot of snack options so I got myself a little pistachio croissant ✨ Léo was the barista that served me & his coffe was perfectly done, coming from someone that drinks coffee every day. You might have to wait a couple minutes but it's definetly worth it! The atmosphere is warm & you have a couple tables to seat if you want to.View more

I was just going to settle for a regular coffee but the employee who took my order said he wanted to make sure I liked my drink & recommended the Remix - a mix of hot & cold. I wouldn't normally have cold coffee in January but figured why not. I took my order to go, & I'm so glad I got it! The espresso flavour was great & the drink had the right amount of sweetness. Because it was so cold outside, I think it kept the drink at a nice consistency & it maintained a smooth texture. Thanks for the recommendation!View more

It was rich, velvety, & perfectly balanced-not too sweet, with just the right amount of chocolatey indulgence. Served with a sprinkle of cocoa powder, it felt like a hug in a cup. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, & the care put into its preparation is evident in every sip. The staff were incredibly attentive & friendly, ensuring I had everything I needed. Got the cafe crema, caffe latte, nutella croissant, pistachio bomboloni , & tiramisu. AMAZING taste. Legitimately the most delicious cafe drinks & food. The service was also spectacular. Since we speak english we expected to be treated with a bad attitude like some places in montreal, yet the baristas were super friendly & conversational. Will recommend to everyone & come back for sure! It was quite busy & a long line though. The prices were also very reasonable, our drinks were like 4$ each.View more

Nice latte night chill spot. Especially for those who don't go clubbing, this is a great alienation. The coffee & quite strong so I'm glad I ordered it in latte. I even drink lots of coffee but their pours are almost like you are eating well roasted grounds. They have cookies & ice cream as well. I tried the amaretto cookie & it was fluffy & soft & not crumbly & hard like I hoped but it went well with the coffee because it was sweet & helped cut the bitter strength of the coffee. Space is limited here even though the building is beautiful stone in a great neighborhood to walk.View more

The lines may be long, but the quality is well worth it! Café Olimpico is a quaint cafe located in the lovely neighborhood of Old Port (there are different locations but this is where I went). My partner & I got the Cafe Latte & the Latte Fredo. The Fredo is an Iced Latte (the ice chips were unexpected but the drink was delicious nonetheless). You can taste the actual flavor of the espresso used, & it was great! I rather preferred the Cafe Latte over the Fredo. If you are a flavored latte lover, just know they do not offer flavored lattes. Go instead for the experience, the aesthetic, & the quality! You won't be disappointed!View more

This cute cozy café is located in the heart of old port & is a perfect spot to grab desserts/small sandwiches to go or sit down & enjoy your coffee, dessert or breakfast sandwich. They open at 6am, so perfectly suitable for early birds. The staff are very nice & friendly; they made special cold drinks for us & recommended best options to eat. We tried their Tiramisu, Nutella-Cookie & Pistachio Bombolini. My favorite was Nutella-Cookie; I will always come back to try more.View more

Don't let the huge line up deter you. It does move fast, even though it was only 1 guy working when I visited. He was friendly & tried to chat with each customer even though he was doing everything by himself (from making drinks to clearing tables) There are a few tables inside but it is a small & cozy place. The ricotta bombolini was super light & not overly sweet at all! Coffee was delicious too! Merci.View more
