This place completely changed my coffee standards. I wish I still lived nearby so I could go as often as I used to. Best coffee shop in town. The flat whites & cortados are something out of this world. Also, the cardamom rolls will always hold a special place in my heart.View more
beautiful cafe! great quality coffee & a very sunny & well designed ambiance. good for studying or just hanging out!View more
Coffee is decent, but the space is incredibly crowded. It might be because I'm only ever getting coffee during peak hours when students have filled the place, & that's why it feels uncomfortably crowded, but otherwise it's nice. The rewards for regular customers is a nice touch too.View more
Although is well designed, place is very cold. Furthermore, coffee is mediocre & barista is rude. Not recommended.View more
Knowledable staff on coffees & neighborhood. Great selection styles of coffees & desserts. Could sit here all afternoon. I could sit here & shove my face with croissants! Hah!View more
Best cafe in Montreal. I love their coffee & baked goods. The staff are all friendly & welcoming.View more
Great coffee, great pastries. Gets a little cold in the winter but really nice to study at!View more
Really good coffee. Very busy study spot but all around good vibes. Go early to get a seat :) The scones are 12/10!! Chai latte really sweet but I like it. The mochas are very good!View more
The coffee is delicious & the service is fast & pleasant. I recommend their scones as well ! Coffee shop tends to be packed with students on their laptops so maybe not the greatest spot to go catch up with a friend. But great to grab & go! (Or study if you're a student ;) )View more
Sub par service with a latte that is not what it used to be.
I drank countless lattes in Cafe Nocturne. I used to consider it the best (by far) latte in MTL.
It was at least 4:45 ….All the stools were on the tables! « we are closed » said the staff. Where did all the customers go in 5 minutes?
I’m sure there was a change in ownership. It’s the only explanation.
I know for sure Michael would have never tolerated that.
As a constructive criticism, it used to be perfect coffee. It was more than coffee, an experience. It’s sad. Customer service level simply went south with a touch of arrogance.View more
Just excellent Americano & lovely staff/atmosphere. You can see the coffee swirl on top & you know you don't have a franchise, watered down, burnt drink.View more
Coffee (Flat white) was not good like seen on Instagram, & the milk was burnt which is shame because we came here after seeing all the good reviews.
The barista mentioned that flat white was supposed to be very liquid since the milk is thinner & latte art wasn’t possible. ( See attached image ) This isn’t true based on other coffee shops I’ve been to.
She then said we should have asked for a cappuccino since the milk was thicker. This was better but still the milk was burnt.
Giving 3 star since she remade coffee for us & the croissant was awesome, but overall won’t come again for just the coffee.View more
Great cafe ☕? with delicious food & great service.
We had this place on our want-to-visit list & finally made it out. By the time we showed up they were almost out of scones & sconewitches but we were lucky to grab the last two. OMG sooo delicious! The americano & latte were also delicious.
the staff was great. There was ample space to sit. Thanks, we now have a new coffee place we can add to our list View more
