Ouvert en 2008 à quelques pas de l'Université Concordia, le Café Myriade mise avant tout sur la qualité de son café. Ses deux fondateurs ont déjà fait leurs preuves en tant que baristas (spécialistes dans la préparation de boissons à base de café).
Café Myriade est perçu comme une halte incontournable à Montréal: le café est généralement excellent, les baristas sont chaleureux et les torréfactions locales ainsi que les viennoiseries plaisent beaucoup; l'ambiance est cosy et conviviale, avec une vraie présence de quartier et une clientèle fidèle, mais l'endroit peut devenir très fréquenté et les places assises difficiles à trouver lorsque c est plein ou qu il neige; le service est en général rapide et efficace, même si certaines observations signalent qu une personne seule peut assurer la caisse et que certains membres du personnel paraissent moins attentifs ou fâchés par le manque de français selon l'équipe; la machine espresso haut de gamme et des choix comme le latte, le mocha et le chai latte reçoivent de bons retours, tout comme les pâtisseries et les muffins véganes; c est idéal pour discuter entre amis, travailler ou prendre un café à emporter, même si le wifi n est pas toujours disponible et que les prix restent raisonnables compte tenu du quartier; dans l'ensemble, c est l'une des meilleures adresses café de Montréal.
It's fairly small, with a couple of seats.
The coffee was alright but the service was not the best. Unfortunately I don't speak French & the lady looked a bit annoyed by it & rolled her eyes. Keep in mind that this is located in a highly touristic area.
Stayed in Montreal for a couple nights & this coffee shop quickly become the morning stop. Their coffee is great & the vegan muffins are amazing. The shop itself is pretty cozy & has great service
This has been my go to coffee shop since it opened-10 years ago now?? AC fixed. It's a tiny shop, & not well laid out. Much of the cafe IS the line-up. Love to see a reno here to maximize seating. Otherwise, love it.
Cute & convenient coffee shop! They served us pretty quickly, but I think they forgot about the first people in our group who ordered & we had to remind them to make the drinks.
My partner & I learned about Cafe Myriade from the barista Ram when we visited Micro Espresso. We are visitors to Montreal & love coffee so we were keen on checking this place out as well. Ram was an absolute delight at both Myriade & Micro Espresso. I had an espresso while my partner had a latte. The espresso was really tasty. Smooth, slightly acidic, great balance of bitterness & sourness, & really fragrant. While the drinks were good, the best part was the interactions with Ram. He was so friendly, easy going & overall made the experience 10 times better. I'm convinced the coffee tasted as good as it did because of Ram. 10/10. Would definitely recommend.
Coffee was hot & readily available. Nice little indoor & outdoor seating areas. Spilled coffee on my pants laughing at a joke, which was unfortunate for my pants. Edit: pants cleaned up nicely 👌
Love this spot very cheap for a fancy coffee honestly like my matcha was 3$!🙀🙀🙀🙀 (Im a matcha addict) very bussin the matcha is good quality & the place rlly cute & cozy def recommend😗

The latte tasted really good. Small selection of baked goods, but decent choices. Only suggestion would be to give number tags to those who are dining in so that they can go sit down & have their coffee brought to them. ☕️🍽️
The OG joint of specialty coffee in mtl. Grungy in the right way. Juicy coffee or dark coffee, they always offer it all. Viennoiseries are legit. Oh & the prices are the best in the whole city. An institution. Some baristas are a bit entitled & offer no real service whatsoever, but for the most part barista here are attentive & warm. I hope the traditional kind service continues to prevail for years to come.
Hands down the BEST coffee that I've ever had since tasting Ethiopian coffee in Northern Ethiopia - that trip was back in 1997, I've tasted a lot of coffee since then. Je n'aime pas le café de Cafe Myriade, j'adore ça!
