This place has a genuinely inviting atmosphere. There's something about the café's interior design that creates a cozy, warm ambiance & makes it comfortable to spend time there.
The croissant was flavorful, though it would have been better if it had been served warm. The coffee quality is good overall, but the temperature could be improved. For instance, the hot chocolate was not as hot as expected.
You can find strong & creamy cafe latte, & Matcha latte here :) , located very close to concordia university. Usually fresh cookies, white chocolate & raspberry croissant. Atmosphere is nice as well if you like to be surrounded by students.
This cafe is tiny but packs an enormous punch for its size! My latte was the best latte I have had in Montreal. The croissant was excellent & was one of several delicious looking pastry selections. The baristas are courteous & efficient. There's seating outside as well. Pricing? Above the famous Canadian coffee shop but below that expensive American place. In any case, I prefer to patronise a local business than a big chain.
chef's kiss to the person who makes almond croissant!!! but the chai latte keeps disappointing me. it mostly tastes like steamed milk & lacks spices of chai.
Three things: 1. The cappuccino is the closest I've experienced this side of the Atlantic to the real thing in Italy. Perfect balance of taste & texture. 2. The butter croissant is simply divine. 3. Ah but the chocolate donut. In a former life I used to make custard piroskis from 1950s polish recipes. (Long story.) We made donuts from the leftover dough. This donut took me all the way back. Exceptional. Soft & yet substantial, tasty & not too sweet, possibly the best donut I've had in Canada.
Been getting their filter & I love it! Well priced. Their pastries are also good & reasonably priced - I recommend the cheese croissant. Super friendly staff & cute ambiance.
I had a vanilla latte & an almond croissant. Latte was amazing but croissant was not great, it was too sweet & felt not fresh.
I come here everyday I really enjoy the coffee & the pastries (orange scone & almond croissants) they have the best croissants I tried in Montreal & the best Coffee. I enjoy sitting in the terasse every morning but I'm seriously finding it hard to keep coming because of the urine smell in the terasse. It's not pleasant to have a bite of croissant trying to savour it but smelling piss at the same time.
First of all the ☕️ here was great & so were the lovely croissants 🥐. Place is cute but a bit small, wish there was more space. Also felt the air conditioner not working inside. In the service it was ok. Though I found the staff was not courteous; as they were making fun when I spilled some hot coffee (filled up to the brim) & then asked them to replace it with a disposable cup. Hope they try to improve on this 🙏.
The place is small but it was packed. We visited on a Sunday at 10 am & unfortunately they already sold out of the chocolate croissant. We managed to get the last piece of the cheese croissants & it was delicious & fresh. Vanilla latte was really good.
Ordered a cappuccino & got a flat white instead. Seemingly hard to find a good cappuccino downtown.
The croissant was very good, though. Flaky & crunchy on the outside & also a good size.
Coffee is good but croissants were average. I will give another chance if i will go again
