I was definitely not disappointed! The latte was rich, creamy, & made with a very well-done espresso with really good price! One of the best I have tried in mtl , The cashier was also really friendly! They have nice outdoor seating, & overall it is just a very well-run cafe.
They have a Kees van der Westen espresso machine. If you know, you know. If you don't know, it's like an $80k European hand made top of the line machine in one of the only cafes I've seen actually use one. & it makes real, real, good coffee. Their local roasts are also very nice.
Good place 👍
The mocha was really good. It wasn't overly sweet & had a nice balance between the chocolate & espresso flavors.
My partner & I learned about Cafe Myriade from the barista Ram when we visited Micro Espresso. We are visitors to Montreal & love coffee so we were keen on checking this place out as well. Ram was an absolute delight at both Myriade & Micro Espresso. I had an espresso while my partner had a latte. The espresso was really tasty. Smooth, slightly acidic, great balance of bitterness & sourness, & really fragrant. While the drinks were good, the best part was the interactions with Ram. He was so friendly, easy going & overall made the experience 10 times better. I'm convinced the coffee tasted as good as it did because of Ram. 10/10. Would definitely recommend.
5/23/17 - Damn good soy double mocha & raspberry pistachio financier. Would definitely go back to this charming little cafe for pastry & espresso drink. Update 4/7/24 - I had been eagerly looking forward to revisiting this place post COVID, now the vegan oat latte is basically just hot burnt water, The lack of menu is also a little challenging to explore offerings, Even if the offerings are pretty standard. Good non-dairy milk options, the drink itself just wasn't good.
For a warm & cozy place to socialize in small groups, this cafe is a good option. There are small tables inside & on the terrace, in good weather. It is less ideal as a workspace as the chairs are wooden & stiff with few power outlets available. The ambiance is comfortable & clean. Staff were friendly, upbeat, & efficient. The coffee menu is simple but has all the staples. The double espresso definitely did the trick & served in a super cute tiny takeaway cup. There are also various pastries as snacks, such as muffins, all of which appeared to be vegetarian.
The best cappuccino I've had the pleasure of having in Montreal. Delicious espresso, thicc creamy foam to top it off, & a mesmerizing aroma you bring it all together. Chill & friendly staff, to make it a perfect cafe experience. It's really popular, so if you want to get a table, I would recommend going here on a weekday.
Had their coffee of the day & espresso shot & it tasted super acidic.
