Absolute gem! Had an excellent breakfast & drink here (would highly recommend the hot chocolate - so good!!) & the staff were very friendly, accommodating & understanding. Sitting outside by the street made for a lovely, calming breakfast experience.
A hidden gem! Their cappuccino was out of this world. I ordered the Cajun steak panini & my partner had the egg & cheese croissant. They were so yummy that we ordered 2 more for the ride home! The staff were friendly & service was quick.
Café Lulu truly exceeded our expectations & became one of the highlights of our trip to Montreal. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm & welcoming, creating a friendly & relaxed vibe that made us feel right at home. They were attentive without being intrusive, & you could tell they genuinely care about their guests having a great experience.
The food was absolutely fantastic - beautifully presented & even better tasting. Every dish we ordered was fresh, well-prepared, & full of flavor. I personally couldn't get enough of the Nutella-Fraises Crêpes - they were rich, indulgent, & perfectly balanced with the fresh strawberries. Definitely a must-try if you have a sweet tooth like me!

First family trip to Montreal & we found Cafe Lulu across the street from our hotel. Great food for us & our kids - delicious croissants, fresh made crepes & good coffee. We enjoyed lunch so much, we came back for breakfast & will be back again before we go home. Also, the staff is so friendly & welcoming & does whatever is asked to make your meal exactly as you want it - a big deal with 2 kids who can be a little picky at time! Would definitely recommend!!
Such a great discovery! We were in the area & we decided to try it, & it was totally worth it. The food was good, & the staff was super friendly. The place was not loud so we could enjoy a relaxed chat. We ordered two savory crepes: chicken & mushrooms, & ham & egg. They were both tasty, but the chicken was better. We also ordered a sweet one with banana & caramel, it was nice, not overly sweet. If we are in the area around lunch we will go again for sure!
Food is great & staffs are very friendly. they speak both english & french & would even help you with your french. they even let me order in french so I can practice 😁 I was on vacation & this place is a must try if you are in downtown. they serve healthy breakfast like fruits. If I live in Montreal, i would always go here. perfect 10!
- I tried their omelette & coffee & became addicted to both, I also really loved their croissants, crepes, & paninis. - Owner & staff were super friendly, I felt like I know them from a long time. - Vibe is cute & soothing. Conclusion: Having Cafe Lulu near my hotel was one of the best things ever happened to me through my visit to the beautiful city of Montreal.
What a wonderful place. I was here before 8 am, & was met with an excellent welcome. The guy who runs this place explained everything in English, very friendly staff. wonderful people!! I was in Montreal only for 2 days, & decided to have breakfast at this place is a MUST !!!!!
