The hotel where we stayed suggested this place. I was suspicious since it was literally around the corner. Was it suggested based on location or something else? Well. It is something else!
The staff were so friendly! My daughter ordered the crepe with strawberries & Nutella. I ordered the crepe with cheese & grilled vegetables. They were huge! They were delicious! I added a cup of steaming hot drip coffee & two fresh baked croissants as a snack later in the day:-)
What a wonderful way to start the day!!!

Such a sweet little café close to the metro. Extremely friendly staff who were patient with us & encouraged us to practice our french with them. Food was delightful & the atmosphere was quaint & warm. A must visit
Second visit was just as wonderful as the first! We loved it Lulu so much we had to bring our friends to experience for themselves. Everything is fresh, the staff (including the owners) are so sweet & patient. Highlight of our trip!

Awesome Cafè!!! Food was fresh, tasty & well priced! The gentlemen who took our order was kind, helpful & delight to deal with! The staff welcoming & nice as well. I highly recommend checking them out! Thank you again for great service & meal!
Café Lulu is the perfect place for everything breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoons & dinner.
All the food is made fresh in house & sometimes right in front of you (like eggs, omelettes & crepes).
We are here almost every day of our vacation & will come again!

The wait was a bit long for two meals (around 30 min) but it was so worth it! I got the crepe with eggs, cheese & ham (can't remember the actual name) & I finished every last bit of it. There was also what I think was fresh pesto on the dish that paired deliciously with the crepe. I'm not from Montreal but if I ever visit again soon I'll definitely come back!
The food here was amazing! We stayed for 4 days in Montreal & we had our breakfast here 3/4 days becasue it was so good, not to mention the freshly made specialty coffees too! They also have a very diverse menu so you can eat here all week & try something new every day!
The real standout here is the service, although I am a novice french speaker, the staff happily encouraged me to try & order in french & they were so kind! They always make sure you have a table to sit at when your food is ready. It seemed this restaurant was loved by travelers & locals & I totally understand why, highly recommend!
Unfortunately, my experience at Café Lulu didn't meet expectations. The latte was quite ordinary & lacked flavor. What really stood out in a negative way was that the spoon & mug didn't seem properly clean, which made the experience feel unpleasant. To make matters worse, the edge of the mug was chipped, something that shouldn't be overlooked in any café.
On a positive note, the croissant was fresh. but overall, the visit didn't leave a good impression. I was expecting more, especially given the café's reputation.

Café Lulu truly exceeded our expectations & became one of the highlights of our trip to Montreal. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm & welcoming, creating a friendly & relaxed vibe that made us feel right at home. They were attentive without being intrusive, & you could tell they genuinely care about their guests having a great experience.
The food was absolutely fantastic - beautifully presented & even better tasting. Every dish we ordered was fresh, well-prepared, & full of flavor. I personally couldn't get enough of the Nutella-Fraises Crêpes - they were rich, indulgent, & perfectly balanced with the fresh strawberries. Definitely a must-try if you have a sweet tooth like me!
The atmosphere of the café was just as impressive - cozy, stylish, & filled with natural light. It had a welcoming charm that made it the perfect place to relax & enjoy a leisurely meal. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or just a coffee & a treat, Café Lulu offers a fantastic experience all around.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Montreal - we'll definitely be coming back next time!
Lovely little cafe with a great selection of breakfast options. We were greeted warmly & our omelette & Lulu Special were tasty & fresh. They also had gluten free toast which was a nice surprise. We hope to return! Thanks Cafe Lulu
Stopped in for breakfast & really enjoyed it! The omelet was flavorful, & the crepe was not overly sweet with plenty of fresh fruit. What really stood out was the staff-they were super accommodating, explained the menu, & made us feel welcome despite us only speaking English. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely a great spot for a good breakfast!
First family trip to Montreal & we found Cafe Lulu across the street from our hotel. Great food for us & our kids - delicious croissants, fresh made crepes & good coffee. We enjoyed lunch so much, we came back for breakfast & will be back again before we go home. Also, the staff is so friendly & welcoming & does whatever is asked to make your meal exactly as you want it - a big deal with 2 kids who can be a little picky at time! Would definitely recommend!!

Food was super fresh & delicious. We got omelettes & crepes, everything was seasoned perfectly to taste. Simple & appealing plating. The owners are warm, friendly & very helpful. The restaurant is tidy & clean with cozy atmosphere. Strongly recommend.
