Had such a lovely experience at Cafe Lulu. Honestly, everything about this place just felt right - the food, the service, & especially the people.
It's the perfect spot to start your day with a great breakfast. The staff were so warm & genuinely kind, it instantly lifted my mood. The food was just incredible. I tried crêpes for the first time & they were absolutely delicious, & the spinach & cheese omelette… wow, easily one of the best I've ever had. Even the coffee was exactly how I like it, which made it even better.
You can really feel the care they put into everything here. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Montreal.

Guys, you seriously have to try this place for breakfast. You know how when the staff is actually friendly, it makes the food taste even better? This is a nice, cozy joint right in the heart of downtown & the owner is just an amazing host.
We showed up starving & started ordering everything on the menu-you know that feeling when your eyes are bigger than your stomach? The host actually stopped us & said,'I think this might be too much food for you guys.' I mean, who even does that these days? He was totally right, too; the portion sizes were spot on.
Everything was amazing, fresh, & came out so fast. We were a group of four adults & three kids-all of us'hangry'-& we walked out super satisfied & full of energy to go explore the city. Don't miss this one!

What can I say? Cafe Lulu is our FAVOURITE place to come in MTL.
We've travelled here often in the past few months & Lulu is a must-go for us. If the breakfast options don't get you, their Cajun chicken sandwich is to DIE for & is something I always need to have before we travel home.
The staff are the most welcoming in the city we've seen by far. They even remembered us multiple times when travelling!
Every item on the menu looks tempting, & it was hard to choose. We tried the jambon crêpe & the jambon omelette, & both were absolutely heavenly-full of flavor & perfectly prepared. The space is very clean, cozy, & authentic, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful & welcoming. The coffee deserves a special mention-the vanilla latte was the best I've had in a long time. We truly enjoyed every single bite of our breakfast & would happily come back again. ☕🥐
We are in Montreal & staying a block from here so we stopped in for breakfast. The staff were very friendly & we really enjoyed our breakfast here.
We all had crêpes & I had a coffee. My youngest son ordered a Nutella with no bananas & when they brought it to our table the lady said crêpe with extra bananas. It made me smile.
I'd definitely recommend this place, & we plan to have Breakfast again there tomorrow before we leave for New York because it was so awesome!
This place is just lovely. I could eat here everyday. The food is prepared with attention to detail & a desire for excellence. It has a peaceful ambience & is frequented by locals. The people working here are also very kind & sweet. A great place for breakfast or brunch.

The coffee was perfectly blended, & the spinach & cheese omelette was beyond delicious. The staff were incredibly warm & welcoming - it truly feels like family the moment you walk in. Cozy, friendly, & full of good vibes.

Such a cute space, absolutely fantastic service! Great breakfast, but this latte? Smooth espresso, & the fluffiest, most silky smooth foam. Life will never be the same. 💛
Friendly staff & delicious selection of food! We really enjoyed our breakfast here on our first day in Montreal. The crepes were absolutely delicious & well presented. The lady who served us behind the counter greeted up warmly & even wished me a happy birthday on the way out once we finished eating!
We easily got a two person table & were served food not long after we ordered at the counter. We would definitely recommend!
Café Lulu is the perfect place for everything breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoons & dinner.
All the food is made fresh in house & sometimes right in front of you (like eggs, omelettes & crepes).
We are here almost every day of our vacation & will come again!

The food here was amazing! We stayed for 4 days in Montreal & we had our breakfast here 3/4 days becasue it was so good, not to mention the freshly made specialty coffees too! They also have a very diverse menu so you can eat here all week & try something new every day!
The real standout here is the service, although I am a novice french speaker, the staff happily encouraged me to try & order in french & they were so kind! They always make sure you have a table to sit at when your food is ready. It seemed this restaurant was loved by travelers & locals & I totally understand why, highly recommend!
Hands down THE BEST CAFE in Montreal. Reasonably priced, excellent menu choices (vegetarian options), & the absolutely sweetest staff I've ever encountered. Staff make an effort to remember their customers even if they are tourists returning daily for breakfast.

Absolute gem! Had an excellent breakfast & drink here (would highly recommend the hot chocolate - so good!!) & the staff were very friendly, accommodating & understanding. Sitting outside by the street made for a lovely, calming breakfast experience.
Great spot but YOU CANT WORK WITH LAPTOP THE MORNING! Which I find no necessarily bad in a super crowded place but the cafe was half empty I wasn't bothering anyone worst to worst the owner (who is really kind) could have told me ok you can work but only for 2 hours. Be flexible, I spent 28$ for my breakfast.
