Nice cafe with some delicious light foods. I ordered the hojicha latte with oat milk & a ajitama onigiri. It is like a chilled patty of seasoned rice & meat topped with a pickled boiled. egg. They unfortunately do not have decaf coffee. But service is nice & the place is beautiful. No AC for hot days either.View more

My first time having a Onigiri, & was a good one. They have veg options as well. The best part- the seaweed was fresh & crispy! The baristas have very good knowledge of the Matcha options & can recommend one to your taste. Was a bit warm inside for summer, but can imagine will be a great place when weather cools down.View more

I came here today just as they were opening with a few friends to try a couple of their items. We ended up getting the tuna & salmon onigiri. Both were great & we even had a pleasant chat with the lady working there, who was excited to share a bit about her hometown in Japan. The place seems to be family run & I was so happy to see how everyone was involved in the care of the restaurant. This is the kind of place that makes Montreal so great! Will definitely be coming back to try other things.View more

This is a cute hidden place. Onigiris are good & big, nothing to special though. The only down side was that there was no fans or ac, so it was hot. Employees are nice though.View more

I ordered two onigiris & they were excellent. Among the best I've had, & I've had onigiri in Japan. Vibe was very cute, staff were super friendly. I'm excited to come back & try different flavours. The marinated egg onigiri in particular was amazing.View more

Super endroit. Plusieurs onigiris ont des saveurs inusitées (non-traditionnels), les gens y sont super accueillants & gentils. Probably the best hojicha latte I've ever had! So smooth & creamy. I will be back to try the matcha one. The onigiri is very fresh & tasty- my favorite is the seasoned egg (ajitama) one. The space is very beautiful & cozy. The wall & ceiling detailing is quite unique & beautiful. This place has a great atmosphere for meeting up with a friend, or working/studying at a cafe.View more

J'ai adoré ma première visite à ce café à thématique japonaise. Ils servenr principalement du café & des onigiris, mais ont aussi d'autres propositions sur leur menu. Plusieurs variétés d'onigiri proposées avec des ingrédients typiquement japonais. J'ai commandé le "diable", simple mais délicieux. Les prix sont très acceptables pour le Plateau, il y a du wifi pour travailler, mais peu d'espaces assises à l'intérieur. J'ai fait une courte visite, mais je n'hésiterais pas à revenir pour un afternoon work dans un avenir proche.View more

Absolument fantastique ! Les onigiris, bien que simples en apparence, peuvent rapidement devenir insipides si des ingrédients de mauvaise qualité sont utilisés. Heureusement, ce n'est pas le cas ici. Le riz est succulent & les "saveurs" des onigiris (saumon, thon, oeuf, yuzu, poulet panné, etc) sont diverses & parfaitement exécutées. Quant à leur soupe miso, c'est un véritable délice ! En somme, nous avons ici des variations d'un plat simple, mais exécutées avec d'excellents produits, dans une ambiance décontractée, entouré d'un personnel aimable & accueillant. J'y retournerai pour tester leurs multiples plats d'accompagnement ! Le seul bémol : les membres de l'équipe sont peu à l'aise avec le français (service en anglais), mais ils font des efforts & maîtriser le japonais & l'anglais, c'est déjà impressionnant. ;)View more

The onigiri that i choose was the tuna mayo & it's good. When you dine in, they will serve the onigiri open, then you need to fold it by yourself. It's an interesting experience before you eat. They also has miso soup, which is good, coffee, & matcha hojicha latte. The place atmosphere is cozy & good to relax & hang outView more

Pas accessible en fauteuil roulant : deux grosses marches à l'entrée & porte étroite. Personnel non accueillant : on rentre & on ne sait pas si on doit attendre ou s'asseoir. Super ordinaire : on a pris tuna mayo, ajitama (oeuf mariné) & Karaa-age. Tuna mayo n'est pas meilleur que ce qu'on se fait à la maison, l'oeuf etait super bon mais le reste de l'onigiri bof, & finalement le 3e n'est même pas du poulet frit, dans du riz blanc. Des Onigiris trop gros & vraiment ordinaires, on ne reviendra pas.View more
