Mes collègues & moi venons au Café Le Nigiriz depuis plus d'un an, & c'est toujours notre spot préféré. Leurs onigiris sont non seulement délicieux, mais aussi super esthétiques - de vraies petites oeuvres d'art. Ambiance cozy, service top - un vrai bijou caché à Montréal. I went there on a date & it was such a lovely place. The service was amazing that young boy Makoto made some amzing tasting & looking onigiri. For valentines day the onigiri were heart shaped which was very cute. The matcha was amazing.

Such a great local discovery! One of the best cafés in the area, in my opinion. The Onigiri is amazing, great portion, & like most people are saying, the matcha & hojicha lattes are hands-down the BEST I've ever had in the city. The staff is very sweet & friendly, & the space is filled with art, plays fantastic music (always great music choices!) & the bathrooms are always impeccably clean. Un passage régulier de la fin de semaine, pour un instant de douceur gustative & de calme, un petit dépaysement dans Montréal. Leurs onigiri sont fraichement préparés & délicieux, les petits plats également, & leur matcha latte... le meilleur de la ville pour moi. Spécial yummy pour le Ume. (Les gens qui chialent pour de la sauce soja dans les commentaires ont surement bien trop l'habitude des goûts avec des ultra additifs, de plus on ne met pas de la sauce soja dans tout sous prétexte que c'est un plat asiatique, sachez profiter de la simplicité) Le lieu est toujours propre, on peut profiter tranquillement car pas de musique forte comme souvent on peut entendre, le personnel très gentil & parle français & anglais. On peut y venir juste pour manger, y rester avec son laptop pour travailler (wifi) ou lire son bouquin. Un seul souhait : qu'ils ne ferment pas aussi vite que la plupart des choses biens à Mtl.View more

Really cozy & quiet spot near the bustling St. Laurent Ave. I got a hojicha latte, which is one of the best ones I've had - highly recommend it! Cute Onigiri spot , the Umi & dry tomato onigiri are our fav. Hojicha is pretty good & their combos make it a somewhat accessible meal. I just wished they had more sitting spaces , as people with laptops take over the table spots for extended periods of time, leaving people who don't come to stall in stools by the corner.View more

I had the fried chicken & the salmon onigiri, both were a bit disappointing. The chicken wasn't crispy, it had gone cold, soggy & chewy so it wasn't easy to eat or tasty. The salmon had no seasoning & was overcooked & dry. I also had the marinated mushrooms, & it was just one mushroom cut into 4 & it really wasn't to my taste. The marinade was filling the mushroom & burst out in my mouth. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, but it wasn't for me. The staff all were very nice & the cafe looks really cool too. I would go back to try coffee & a pastry because they looked good.View more
