Still, the charm, quick service on some visits, and the chance to unwind or study keep this café a go to near Parc La Fontaine.

Bit disappointing but could've just been a bad day.
We went on our trip to Montreal in 2023 & enjoyed it so looked forward to going back. Went in April 2026 & it wasn't great. The woman behind the counter clearly didn't want to be there & wasn't friendly. I ordered a toastie which arrived burnt (like black not just a bit burnt) with no acknowledgment from the waiter. It was also different to the one I ordered. The coffee was so bad I couldn't drink it.

Loved the ambience & the drinks, it was cozy & warm, loved the service & that's where my friend announced me that she was getting married so this cafe holds a special place in my heart 🖤
