My girlfriend ordered the sea salt earl grey matcha & she really loved it, perfect balance of sweet & salty. I tried the coco cosé it was really good & refreshing for a hot summer day like today. The employees were really nice & sweet as well, it really shows that they care about their service & the customer experience! Will definitely come back to try new stuff
I came here on a boiling humid day in Montreal, but got recommended this place by a friend.
As a Viet, this is more Viet meets Modernism but with a tasty twist! There are some Viet flavours on the menu like the Coffee with Condensed Milk, Coconut, & Bananas. I ordered mine for'to here' of an Iced Banana Matcha Latte with a Chocolatine for roughly $13 CAD with taxes. Prices are average like your other coffee shops in Montreal.
For the ambience, it's pretty cute, modern condo-style, & chic (beige, white, brown), but with limited seating spots. No plugs (I think or it's limited) but there is WiFi, you just have to ask for the guest password.
Service wise, it may be slow, so please be patient when ordering & waiting. When I came close to 19h, there was only one nice barista serving & ordering for everyone. He was nice! Luckily I didn't have to wait too long for my order (around 5 mins), but I'm sure on other days might be chaotic.
Flavour wise, the Iced Banana Matcha Latte is pretty good, not too sweet. I personally liked it as I was able to taste the Bananas. Chocolatine was $4 & flakey & less chocolate.
It's a cute spot, roughly 10-15 mins away from Charlevoix metro. I do recommend coming here with friends or want a quick refresher, but beware of the last g wait & crowd!
I stumbled upon Cafe Cose while walking through the neighborhood & was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. It is the perfect spot if you need to get some work done or just want to sit with a book for an hour. The coffee is consistently strong & the staff seems to really care about the quality of every drink they prepare. I will definitely be making this a regular part of my weekly routine.
Everything about this place feels very intentional. From the lighting to the background music selection, it is clear that the owners put a lot of thought into the guest experience. I ordered a flat white & it was balanced perfectly without being overly acidic. It is rare to find a cafe in this area that maintains such a calm vibe even when they are busy during the morning rush. Highly recommended for anyone local.
Honestly one of the better cafes I have visited lately. The interior is clean & modern without feeling cold or clinical. I spent about two hours here yesterday & the internet connection was solid the entire time which is a huge plus for me. The pastries looked fresh behind the counter & the service was friendly without being intrusive. I am looking forward to coming back & trying their lunch options soon.
This is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot that we needed. It is not trying too hard to be trendy, it just focuses on serving good coffee & providing a comfortable space for people to gather. The prices are fair for the quality you receive & the staff is always welcoming when you walk through the door. It has quickly become my go to destination for a quick afternoon pick me up on my way home from work.
