I had the banana matcha & while a good concept & quite tasty, I felt that it's very overpriced for what it is & the service was very confused. They don't follow first-come-first-served, there were a few people before me who got the wrong order, & overall there was a long-ish wait time.
Their matcha is just amazing. I tried their matcha creme & coffee creme. I liked the matcha more.. . The cafe has this cosy vibe but the seating is limited. I went on a Saturday & did not find any empty seats.
But will try again .

We decided to stop by Cose after doing a Google search for good matcha places in Montreal & omg we loved it. The matcha was clean & flavourful, I loved it so so much that I came back for another one for the road back home💖 Pet friendly & baby friendly, friendly staff, just amazing, I would highly recommend it!
Hands down best matcha earl grey sea salt in Montreal I tried all of the viral one & nothing hits like cosé the hype is real just look at the color if you know you know!!!
Café Cose has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city. The vibe is effortlessly cool-bright, welcoming, & always buzzing with energy.
Yes, the line can be a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours, but it's for good reason.
The coffee is excellent-smooth, consistent, & clearly crafted with care. But the matcha? Easily the best in the city. Perfectly balanced, earthy without being bitter, & made right every time.
If you're into good drinks & great atmosphere (& don't mind waiting a little), Café Cose is a must.

Good matcha. Their blueberry one wasn't my favourite, but their orange blossom is very very very good. The best flavoured matcha in the city in my opinion. Their earl grey sea salt is also an amazing matcha, however I noticed that the level of sweetness is not always the same when I go when it comes to the earl grey one. Nonetheless, it's yummy.
This spot was on my'must-try coffee list of Montreal', & I think I've just unlocked a new craving, their iced sea salt earl grey matcha was to die for. Now I have to come back to try the rest of the menu because everything looked absolutely delicious.
The Vietnamese fusion drink concept is so unique & well-executed, the flavors blend perfectly. The café itself is quite small, so I recommend coming early if you want to grab a seat.
One of the highlights was definitely the staff, the baristas & owners were incredibly friendly & welcoming. The vibe inside was just amazing. You could tell this place has a loyal crowd; people were chatting with one another like regulars, & the whole atmosphere felt warm & inviting.
Huge kudos to the team, this place is truly a gem. Keep up the amazing work!

Here's my honest review. I had the sea salt earl grey matcha latte. It was a very sweet drink. Basically sugar & milk. The Matcha taste was lost in the sweetness. If you are looking for a matcha drink I can't recommend this. I would say the taste is more of an earl grey latte rather than earl grey matcha latte thats how lost the matcha taste was. Probably less syrup, & less water when whisking the matcha. Make a koicha so it is stronger, I want to still be able to taste the nuttiness or the astringency rather than sweetened milk.

This café is so warm & welcoming, thanks to the staff's attitude as well as the overall atmosphere :) They offer wonderful flavors - I loved the Earl Grey matcha. I'll definitely be going back; it's a must-visit in Montreal in my opinion!
