Been here for coffee multiple times & it's always been nice (iced americano, flat white with oat milk) & also recently tried a cheesecake (blueberry) all very nice ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cannot recommend the arancini (prosciutto) or hot sandwich (chicken parm) at all which is why this gets a three star overall. There is no flavour. The chicken was dry & overcooked. The sauce was bland. Both were unevenly warmed (microwaved?) & it was a very disappointing lunch in terms of taste, temperature & texture. Highlight was the bread used for the sandwich.
Will stick to the coffee & cheesecake options going forward.View more
I'm normally not a big fan of eating sandwiches when I eat out, preferring to eat at restaurants with more'interesting' cuisines. However, my daughter wanted to eat At Café Americano, & when I saw the sandwiches people were eating, I said OK!
What a sandwich! I am still thinking about it! We shared the large Caprese, savouring the mozzarella, pesto, & tomato. Delicious!
We could have stopped there, but we also shared a delicious mushroom arancini. The mushroom flavour shone. We asked for the tomato sauce on the side, but they put it on top & if you are ordering it, I would suggest you ask for it on the side (to fully appreciate the mushroom element).
Unfortunately, we were too full to order a dessert, but the display of desserts was tempting- the key lime pie caught my eye.
Service was good. The person who took our order shared that it is a family run business which is nice.
The café is large & sunny with cheerful floral displays on the walls.View more
View more
I wish the sandwich had more sauce & was better secured, cuz it broke apart pretty easily. The tiramisu iced latte was really good though.View more
The place is beautiful & has great energy, but the real reason everyone is happy are the sandwiches. They have amazing flavors. I tried the turkey one, which is a pretty common sandwich, but the pesto sauce & fresh ingredients make it the best I've had. In my opinion, the small sandwich portion is actually quite big, & I don't think it's expensive for the quality you get.View more
I went to this place by random. I ordered chicken grill demi( half), it was awesome! The bread, the sauces, & the chicken were all really fresh & good. Seems very healthy. It was not salty at all( which is a great option). Sauces are natural & Italian style..the price for the sandwich seem really reasonableView more
Vibe & aesthetic is definitely there. I tried the capicollo sandwich & was unpleasantly surprised with their house sauce. It was very bitter & metalic. I did not end up eating my brand new sandwich.View more
Was excited to try after being recommended by a friend. Ordered two sandwiches to go on the house made focaccia, two bottled drinks + tip which came out to about 44 bucks. We were told it would take about 15-20 minutes when it took closer to 30. *fair, it was midday on a Saturday so they were busy. However upon trying the sandwiches, the tomato sauce (I believe labeled signature sauce on their menu), was very bitter to the point that it completely ruined the sandwiches. The sauce almost tasted like there was soap in it, or like someone had used olive oil in the sauce that was extremely burnt. Unfortunately we could not finish our sandwiches which was disappointing because the bread was pretty good.View more
View more
View more
