Stopped by for a small lunch & was not disappointed! The sandwiches are very well proportioned, & they are generous with their heaping of ingredients. The tiramisu iced latte was also delicious :)View more
Sandwiches are huge & delicious, drinks were good. Will be coming back to try other sandwiches & to enjoy the terrasse. I would recommend the spicy sausage sandwich out of the two we tried (charcuterie).View more
I'm normally not a big fan of eating sandwiches when I eat out, preferring to eat at restaurants with more'interesting' cuisines. However, my daughter wanted to eat At Café Americano, & when I saw the sandwiches people were eating, I said OK!
What a sandwich! I am still thinking about it! We shared the large Caprese, savouring the mozzarella, pesto, & tomato. Delicious!
We could have stopped there, but we also shared a delicious mushroom arancini. The mushroom flavour shone. We asked for the tomato sauce on the side, but they put it on top & if you are ordering it, I would suggest you ask for it on the side (to fully appreciate the mushroom element).
Unfortunately, we were too full to order a dessert, but the display of desserts was tempting- the key lime pie caught my eye.
Service was good. The person who took our order shared that it is a family run business which is nice.
The café is large & sunny with cheerful floral displays on the walls.View more
I've had some very mid vegetarian sandwiches but this one is NOT one of them! So flavorful! Just a fun mix of textures with the crunch of the zucchini & the creaminess of the cheese. It's also nice to have the small sandwich option if you're not too hungry & the possibility to add two extras from a selection for free to your sandwich! I'll definitely be back!View more
Tasty drinks, good service. I recommend the london fog & cheese cakes. BIG sandwiches.
The employees have all been friendly every time I've been here.
I'm not sure if it's a'me' problem, but I couldn't find the wifi password until an employee pointed it out on the back wall..! Not an issue, but just hard to spot.View more
The barista/cashier Cameron is so friendly & made the experience very nice. Just an overall really chill guy that is calm but memorable. Matches energy very well & always asks how you're doing before taking your order. Slows you down enough to enjoy your order by the time you get it. He deserves to be recognized! Go Cameron! Also very good cookies, sandwiches & drinks. Nice seating area, good place for catching up with friends or working with headphones on. 10/10 would recommendView more
My friend has been wanting to bring me here because she had only good things to say, & she was absolutely right. The food is amazing (especially the sandwiches & the drinks) & is well priced. The staff is sooo sweet; they address you by your first name & the atmosphere is very homey. Will definitely be back more often :)View more
The coffee is mid & the design of the cafe is so millennial it hurts but the sandwiches are unreal. Get a coffee down the street & get a spicy sausage or a chicken cutlet hell yeah! Bring back focaccia!View more

The place is beautiful & has great energy, but the real reason everyone is happy are the sandwiches. They have amazing flavors. I tried the turkey one, which is a pretty common sandwich, but the pesto sauce & fresh ingredients make it the best I've had. In my opinion, the small sandwich portion is actually quite big, & I don't think it's expensive for the quality you get.View more
Incredibly cozy coffee shop with some of the best sandwiches in town! Be careful, they are HUGE.View more
Well executed executed sandwiches, did not taste anything else so cannot judge coffees or other food. Don't recommend going out of your way for the sandwich though , there are better spots in the city.View more
Very impressed with their large sandwiches. They are big, tasty & very affordable!View more
A friend & I wanted a coffee & Café Americano beckoned us to stop by its attractive store front. The abundant fresh chicken sandwich accompanied with cheese, tomato & lettuce was divided in two & satisfied both our appetites. A big selection of sandwiches are offered & cheesecake for the sweet tooth are an absolute must! The coffee will be made to your specific taste!View more
Sandwiches are bursting with flavor & fresh ingredients, from the juicy chicken, to the cold cut prosciutto, it's that kind of each bite that leaves you wanting more. & pistachio croissant was delicious as well. A must try! Thank you for the amazing staff, service & generosity of portions. Will be back for more.View more
My go to spot! Americano has delicious sandwiches & drinks & a great atmosphere. Also a huge fan of their merch, especially their crew necks!View more
Was excited to try after being recommended by a friend. Ordered two sandwiches to go on the house made focaccia, two bottled drinks + tip which came out to about 44 bucks. We were told it would take about 15-20 minutes when it took closer to 30. *fair, it was midday on a Saturday so they were busy. However upon trying the sandwiches, the tomato sauce (I believe labeled signature sauce on their menu), was very bitter to the point that it completely ruined the sandwiches. The sauce almost tasted like there was soap in it, or like someone had used olive oil in the sauce that was extremely burnt. Unfortunately we could not finish our sandwiches which was disappointing because the bread was pretty good.View more
Sandwiches délicieux, cafés à prix raisonnables & belle ambiance. J'ai adoré autant le sandwich à la saucisse épicée que celui au prosciutto & fior di latte.View more
Sandwiches amazing!!! Make sure to ask for their homemade breadView more
This is my fav cafe to drop into for working, reading, or writing for a few hours! Great atmosphere & wonderful staff. The drinks are always solid. The food is generally delicious, & the sandwiches in particular are fantastic. The prices are fair.View more
Visited twice. Busy place but service is efficient & friendly. We did not have to wait long for our orders. 3* for the coffee drinks. From our visits, our orders were inconsistent. The mocha we ordered tasted different each time. The second time around, the drink was way too sweet, comparable to a hot chocolate. We did not appreciate it. We were served a better beverage the first time, with a better ratio of coffee to chocolate. The sandwiches are generously portioned. The ciabattas are fresh & substantial. We had the Chicken Parm & the Cold Cuts sandwiches. If you are used to visiting other similar Italian sandwich spots around the city, you may find that Café Americano's lacked on flavor. Sandwiches could have used more condiments or spices, in our opinion. Overall, still a good option if you are in the area. Coffee is seemingly hit or miss. If you visit often, consider grabbing a rewards card.View more

I am so glad I randomly stumbled upon this cafe during my walk! I love the atmosphere, although it can get pretty busy, it's very cozy! The matcha latte & chai latte was delicious! But what I loved the most were the arancini's!! I got the spaghetti & ricotta & they were delicious! Will totally come back & try the sandwiches & tiramisu!😊👏View more
