10/10 my favourite resturant as someone who is vegan the staff are nice, great variety of options! nice atmosphere for dine in, food is always still fresh even when you do take out. Their fiance poutine with the mock chicken & kimchi fries are my favourite ! Along with their old school burger & mamma mia burger. Floats are great tooView more

Kimchi fries are really flavorful as expected & the burger has a really nice taste too.
The only minor thing I personally felt was that it was a little greasy for my taste. Both, patty in the burger & fries. But as I said the test was really nice & so was the atmosphere & service.View more

The cheeseburger was flavourful & moist, the kimchi fries were delicious & the cauliflower bite serving was enough to feed 2 of us. Would recommend to anyone vegan or not! Delicious pulled pork burger. Wasn't a fan of the kimchi fries that many recommend...the fries below the kimchi were cold. Would go back for any of the shiitake mushroom based burgers. They also have lots of soda varieties like cream soda & orange cream soda. Staff was friendly. Interior & ambiance was fun. Restroom was clean..running low on tp...the toilet seat cover needs to be repaired & shifted.View more

Shared the house patty fiancé burger & the upgraded kimchi fries with my husband & it was the perfect amount of food for lunch. Burger was one of the tastiest veggie patties I've had. With the "bacon & cheese" it reminded me of steak & shake burgers. This was my first kimchi fries experience. The pickled veggies added so much flavor & somehow didn't make the fries all soggy. Ordered a take out! 1) ordered a basic cheez burger. The patty wasn't bad, but there was almost no sauce in my burger, just a tiny smear on the bun & that's it. The burger had an average patty, scant sauce, one slice of tomato & a small piece of lettuce. $18 for that? 2) it was a take out, there were no napkins. She asked if we wanted utensils. 3) their kimchi waffle fries were cold. Not worth it!View more

I visited Burger Fiance twice during my visit to Montreal. I got the Fiance Burger on the first visit & the Cheeseburger on my second. Both burgers were huge & very filling. My friend (non-vegan) got the Gyros Pita, Kimchi Fries & Poutine & said those were really good & flavorful, especially the Poutine. She tried regular Poutine at another restaurant & said it wasn't as good as BF's lol. I feel that we got more than enough food for what we paid. Good location & very cute inside as well. I tried the raspberry mojito, not too big of a fan of raspberry so I'll stick with traditional mojitos next time I visit.View more

The food was amazing! I'm lactose intolerant & my husband is deathly allergic to eggs, so I tend to choose to go vegan when we go out. This was the best vegan I have had!! My husband even liked it, & he is extremely picky. We tried a burger, fiancé poutine, kimchi fries, grilled cheese. We enjoyed every morcel & even got desserts. So we ate here last night & had their Kimchi fries (really good), kimchi dog - taste was gr8 but there was so much sauce in a brioche that the bun broke & everything was saucy & messy, same thing with the double date burger & the burger of the day.
Not sure what's happening there but this time it wasn't great eating at Burger Fiance & so changing my rating.
If you head over there or order take away make sure that you tell them to go light on sauce/mayo.
My colleagues introduced me to this place recently & it's such a great spot for lunch.
Everything is vegan & tastes exactly like what the real thing is supposed to.
We have the cauliflower bites & their "chicken" nuggets both were delicious. Portion sizes are good too.
Their service is alright & the food makes up for it.View more
