The burger was also good. I'm wanting to try lots of places to eat in Montreal, but will be stopping back here again for the salad & fries before I leave.View more
I sampled my first poutine in this Montreal establishment. Both the poutine & Caesar Salad proved enjoyable. The waitress proved especially helpful, as she offered two different sizes for both without prompting. I went with a small poutine & a large salad - a good choice given the heavy nature of poutine.View more
The best vegan burgers in Montréal! We tried the truffle burger & the pulled pork sandwich & both were delectable. We also loved the kale Ceasar salad & the garden salad. I'm not usually impressed by salads but these were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!View more
So delicious! Had burgers, salads, fries, poutine, & one of their (delicious!) chocolate chip cookies! Everything was so flavourful & clearly thoughtfully made. Great atmosphere & location. Great spot!View more
Great service & amazing food. The best Cesar salad I have ever hadView more
My friend (vegan) & I (not vegan) came to this place before a night out. We both took the same burger, which was the truffle burger & I had it with a side of Ceasar salad & she had it with fries. The burgers were absolutely delicious. The flavors & ingredients meshed amazingly together, the truffle taste was out of this world. Very filling food as well. For non-vegans, i honestly couldn't tell the difference between the impossible burger & a regular beef burger. The salad was great & had an awesome crispy topping, I think capers? All in all, great place, would definitely recommend.View more
We chose this spot because it boasted about its vegan food. I'd skip the food & get the MILKSHAKES, they were amazing, the chocolate is to die for & the 14$ raspberry pistachio was good too. We ordered salads, & they came with no dressing & very little additions to lettuce :/ The veggie burger was too nutty, & it fell apart. Maybe it was an off night. I do have to say that the service was friendly & welcoming.View more
5 out of 5! Burger Fiancé is a fantastic vegan spot that really impresses. The cease salad bowl is a standout, featuring fresh greens & a dressing that's absolutely mind-blowing. The crunchy capers & croutons add a delightful texture that makes each bite exciting. Then there's the kimchi poutine, which strikes the perfect balance of spice & tang, all atop crispy fries that are impossible to resist. The burgers are also delicious, packed with flavor & creativity. If you're in the mood for a plant-based meal that feels special, Burger Fiancé is definitely worth a visitView more
A wonderful array of vegan burgers. I enjoyed the Old School (their version of vegan bacon is the best I have had) while my brother thought the Fiance was excellent. He also gave high marks for the substantial side salad. I tried the house cut fries which were a bit soggy. But a minor point. Nice atmosphere. Very good service.View more
The vegan poutine was very good.. it had a nice tangy spiciness to it. The burger was a miss for me. I tried the truffle burger & there just wasn't very much flavor there. I removed the bottom bun & that helped. I think the Impossible patty would have been a huge improvement over the house patty. I'd like to try it again this way. I wish I could have ordered a side salad, but apparently, you can only get a smaller side as part of the meal. A full sized salad (or poutine) would have been too much food, & wasted.View more
Truffle burger is so good. Must try. Salad is crunchy & tasty. An awesome vegan place. Writing this review as I completed my order Second time: Salad was bland & soggy. Not crispy. Ingredients reduced. House Cauliflower is good. Spicy chick-en burger was amazingView more
Usually not the biggest fan of vegan food but this place did it really really well. I had the namesake Fiance Burger & it was great. The fries were quite nice, though I wasn't as much of a fan of the Caesar salad but the pseudo bacon(?) in it would probably taste better to others. It was a bit pricey though. Staff was bilingual.View more
Loved this place! Truffle burger was super tasty & had a great mix of textures with the onion ring & sauces. I'm glad we opted for the house patty. It had a really nice texture & flavor & was not dry at all. The poutine fiancé was huge, hearty, & full of flavor, with juicy & crispy seitan. The unexpected star of our dinner was the kale caesar salad. Nicely massaged kale, covered with a blend of "bacon" bits & capers. We were scraping the bowl! The berry & pistachio shake was also really good. We didn't catch our young server's name, but she was great & answered all our questions on quebeçois culture, too!View more
I'm vegan, so of course I'll come back here, but I came here twice this week & things were off. 1. Ordered the Chezburger with side salad. I wasn't given the option for a party so I went to the counter to confirm I'm having the house patty, not the impossible patty, only to be told they're out of house patties 2. I canceled the burger & ordered the fiancé salad. It was missing arugula, chick peas, green onions, sesame seeds & something else. So basically a $16 dollar bowl of lettuce 3. My salad arrived before the fork. Why? 4. Came back for the Banana Sunday, but there's no banana, no whip, & no strawberry sauce. Server made a comment about lack of cutlery as we waited for spoons When a place is 86'd important items, it's an indicator that it's going to close. I hope Burger Fiancé orders the missing food inventory & buys some more cutlery.View more
Great vegan burgers. They also have all kinds of great vegan comfort food. I have had the Pulled Pork Mac, & the Kale Caesar Salad as well as the chocolate Oat Milkshake.View more
Absolutely wonderful experience! My first time in the neighborhood & discovered this place. We ordered a couple different things to try which were all delicious! The waffle fries, caesar salad & the smoky burger along with a lemonade bourbon cocktail made for the perfect vegan dinner. Highly recommend, you will love it!View more
Pita souvlaki with tofu was really good, fresh ingredients & tasty overall, the cesar salad on the other hand was awful, soo salty due to being overloaded on toppings & not enough greens. The person who takes orders could be more friendlier.View more
