In a scene reminiscent of the old days, this is THE Griffintown's bar! Privately imported wines, range of draft beers and cocktails, tasty and affordable tapas.
Le Bureau is ideal for Happy Hour, head to heads or late cravings.
Le Bureau Bar Tapas draws a generally positive mix of impressions, with great food and drinks and a quiet, date friendly atmosphere that invites sharing, an attractive ambience and a delightful patio, plus Sunday jazz evenings that some guests loved. The tapas range features hits like calamari and saganaki and beef tartare, while a few dishes fall short for some readers, such as patatas bravas with a mystery sweet sauce and overcooked chorizo; overall portions are described as substantial and the prices reasonable for the quality. Cocktails are often highlighted as well balanced and well presented, with bartenders who tailor recommendations to tastes, and several reviews note a strong value for the quality. Service is generally praised as friendly and attentive, though one visit mentioned a long wait to settle the bill. The atmosphere and decor receive compliments, and many say they would return for dinner or drinks to enjoy the vibe and come back for more cocktails and tapas.
The food was alright. The aesthetic of the restaurant is really nice & it has a nice ambience. The drinks were very good, but we did have to wait a really long time before having to call the waitress to get her bill in the end.

Excellente cuisine de qualité ! Tous les tapas commandés étaient succulents, & les portions copieuses. Les prix sont très raisonnables pour la qualité.
Patatas bravas served with a mystery sweet sauce, not spicy. Chorizo was chewy, low quality. Unfortunate. The atmosphere is incredible, wonderful decor & thoughtful aesthetics. Service was overall nice. Would go again maybe for cocktails to enjoy the surroundings.
Nice atmosphere but oor quality of dishes.
In a tapas restaurant, would expect a little variety of olives but it was just kalamata.
Patatas bravas was not at all delicious, & the chorizo was super overcooked like a rubber.
The only good dish was the calamari & maybe the broccoli.
Wine & margarita also not impressive.
Would not go here again.
Highly recommend sitting at the bar with Renee! She makes fantastic drinks based on what you like! Don't be afraid to order off the menu! Good ambiance & tapas!
