filipino(45) bulalo(25) kare kare(19) rice(18) noodle(17) dishes(17) tasty(13) pork(13) sauce(13) recommend(13) broth(12) pancit(12)Saw this place on Social Media & decided to check it out with some friends & boy did we not regret it. Nice little Filipino restaurant that served what I'm told is authentic food & I believe it. I had the Pancit Canton which were stir fried noodles that were well seasoned & nicely spiced. I added Lechon for an extra 4$ & it added a nice meatyness & crunchiness that was complimented by the seasoning & texture of the noodles. Definitely worth coming here.
A one man show that was put very well together!! Our chef's cooking & customer service has been the best I ever received in a while. The bangus is AMAZING & crunchy (just how I like it). Longsilog brought me back to the good ol' days. I love the restaurant's vibe & decor. My fiance & I enjoyed our time!
I recently had the chance to try the boodle-feast (Kamayan) dining experience. It was an engaging & interactive meal, where I got to enjoy the food with my hands (plastic gloves were provided). The price tag was $60 per person, but the portion sizes were generous, making it a worthwhile & enjoyable experience. I loved the garlic rice & the deliciously charred meat.
On y retournera assurément.
I'd go there just for their bone broth! It's crazy good & he puts a lot of care into making it great! Great vibe! The food is really unique there, never tasted anything quite like what i had. Not vegetarian friendly
Sooo damn tasty & comforting. Exactly what you need during -20 weather. We had the crab rangoons, oxtail kare kare & the Loco Gang. We were left very satisfied & will definitely be back!
We came for their limited all you can eat Sunday brunch To;dr: would recommend, the food is good! The food was really good, not too many options but every single dish tastes very good The first plate tasted a lot better than the 2nd serving we had, the rice was quite mushy & the meat was somehow saltier (could be us) Service was really good, 4 star because she proposed food & we thought it was included but it ended up being extra
Went for Sunday brunch & it was delicious. Generous all you can eat portions. Staff was great! Looking forward to our next visit!
Ca fait 10 ans que je vie dans le quartier & je vien de découvrir cette merveille!! I will comeback again n again i would give it a 6 star if it was possible
Delicious & freshly made shrimp palabok 😋 its super cozy & love the decor. Great service as well!
Buboy is a standout for its inventive Filipino fusion cuisine. The flavors are a delightful blend of traditional & contemporary. Each dish is a masterful fusion of classic Filipino ingredients & innovative culinary techniques. If you're looking for a fresh take on Filipino cuisine, Buboy is a must-visit.
Everything on the menu is so good. OG bulalo & oxtail kare kare my ultimate favourites!
Buboy is a really tasty, homey, local restaurant joint with a twist on staple Filipino dishes. We had oxtail karekare, loco-gang, & longsilog. The portions are great, rice-heavy as what your Filipino mom will put on your plate. We had calamansi juice as well, which is always a refreshing drink to enjoy
Hard to find another good Filipino restaurant in Montreal with flavours close to home. The OG Bulalo hit the spot I was craving for.
