Reviews describe Brossard Bagel as offering excellent bagels at reasonable prices, baked in a traditional wood-fired oven that many say truly elevates the flavor, with fast service and a wide range of flavors to suit diverse tastes. The staff are consistently noted as friendly and welcoming, making visits feel pleasant whether for dine-in or takeout, and the bagels stay fresh and hot, with standouts like coconut and sesame varieties and satisfying bagel sandwiches. The atmosphere includes the chance to see the bagels made in front of the wood fire, and some reviews mention a distinctive Jamaican connection with beef patties that adds variety. Some criticisms appear, including occasional undercooked bagels on repeat visits, concerns about patty size or quality, and a complaint about plastic bags contacting hot bagels during packaging raising health concerns. Overall, many shoppers consider it among the best bagels on the South Shore and a reliable go-to for flavorful, hearty bagels.
I enjoy the bagel sandwiches from this place. They're very tasty, excellent. However, when you buy fresh bagels they put the plastic bag directly inside the paper bag along with the steaming hot bagels. What happens is the plastic bag melts. This process releases unhealthy chemicals onto the bagels & the whole batch had to be thrown out. You guys have to train your employees to NOT put plastic bags inside with bagels that come out of the oven. This is not a personal preference, this is health code level stuff. Please be mindful of this.
We came to Montreal for a soccer tournament & the entire team ate here for lunch. Everyone loved the experience of watching the bagels being freshly baked with real wood fire. The quality of the food was off the charts. The owner himself served the team & the rest of restaurant team were soooo patient. The quality of the food is worth the drive & coming from Toronto...this experience is definitely in the books. Will come here everytime we are back & wondering if this could be delivered in Toronto 😎😊😋.
Thank youuuuuuu team Brossard!!!

We got a bagel freshly baked & still hot 🔥 nothing really beats this.
In southshore, i know 2 spots that offer firewood baked bagels: Brossard Bagel & Oze.
We tried both to compare, i very slightly prefare the Oze. Also i prefer fairmont bagels in mtl & st-aviateur is my favourite spot still. But guys, we splitting hairs here! All 4 spots are AMAZING. Stop by & get one fresh while its hot!
We were visiting from Toronto & decided to do a trip to Montreal. We couldn't leave without a bag of Montreal bagels. We usually go to Fairmont but decided to check out this place as it was on the way. In my opinion, this was one of the worst decisions. I asked for fresh bagels which I usually get at the other bagel stores. The cashier was kind & said yes. After the purchase she asked the baker & he said to give us the old ones. The bagels were stale, not fresh & not good to eat. They also have Jamaica pies & samosas at this store. Please try other bagel stores

You come in line to wait 15min to see online orders get fresh bagels & get in front of you. When you get to the counter, they tell you you need to wait 20min to get fresh bagels. What a joke. They are so unorganized they do not even tell people that there are no bagels, to lure you in buying old not fresh bagels. This is a shame & an awful service.
Nice bagels always fresh. Their delli always good nice seasoning on everything. Perfect sauce & bagel combo. Nice staff as well you can see them make the bagels its so cool with that big oven.
Delicious bagels & amazing staff. Us Anglophones came in on Thanksgiving, hungry & with awful French skills, & not only were the bagels amazing but the staff were as well. They got us the freshest ones & were super friendly & patient with us because we were so excited & confused. We left with 3 bagel sandwiches & a dozen bagels for home along with instructions for how to keep them fresh. When I say the bagels were amazing, I mean we ate some of the fresh ones plain, just bit into them. When we left we saw the terrific window art & were extra pleased to have supported this business. Thank you!
Best bagles in Quebec in my opinion. You can go there & always get a fresh batch. They also have a variety of flavors that are exquisite. You have to try Montreal Steak Spice!

We purchased twelve bagels from Brossard Bagel, selecting the fresh-out-of-the-oven sesame seed ones. These bagels were pleasantly chewy, warm & delicious.
Additionally, we sampled the samosas, although they had been microwaved, causing a loss of texture. Despite that, they still offered good taste.
