It is the ideal place to taste our beers right from the source, to break bread and enjoy the sun on our terrace. The Pub offers about forty seats inside and as many on the terrace. The enchanting decor of the Relais de la Diligence, a historical building, offers a vacation atmosphere in the picturesque village of Dunham.

Review Summary

Across reviews Brasserie Dunham is seen as a lively, welcoming spot with a strong focus on beer and comforting bistro fare, offering a broad selection of locally brewed beers and a menu that includes poutine, burgers, pizza and nachos. Guests describe a warm, festive ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating, arcade touches and a small shop for taking beers home. The staff are frequently praised for friendliness and beer knowledge, with reliable service and helpful recommendations, though service can be inconsistent during busy times. The food earns high marks for flavor and quality, especially the poutine and burgers, while a few dishes may be overcooked on occasion. The venue is often described as pet friendly and suitable for casual gatherings, with a strong sense of local character and community. A few drawbacks include the occasional sulfur taste in the water and the rush of customers at certain times, but overall Brasserie Dunham stands out as a must visit in the region for tasting sessions and a lively social experience.

Excellent service & atmosphere! Visited on a sunny late Friday afternoon while the place was quiet, right before the 5à7 crowd were arriving. Although alcohol-free, there are always interesting options along with an evolving rotation of their excellent home brews on-tap & for take away!🍺
The food menu is in my opinion, one of the best microbrasserie food menus in Québec! I had the Korean Chicken Burger, served with fries & salad my husband had the Cheeseburger, also served with fries & salad. We've had these dishes twice before, usually 💯 incredible & highly recommended choices. Quality assurance was somewhat lacking last visit as my chicken burger was over cooked, or fried. It wasn't so much the darkened breading, providing a somewhat burned taste, but the dried out chicken - which is not typically the case as it's normally perfectly prepared. My husband's cheeseburger was oozing with an exaggerated amount of maynaise, resulting in him having to remove that side of the bun completely. We believe this was a unique situation as the food is here is typically excellent, without issue. Just a note to the kitchen to pay more attention to avoid overcooking the chicken burger & overloading dishes with mayo.

My wife & I & two friends recently drove through Dunham during a visit to Quebec's Eastern Townships. We stopped by the Brasserie Dunham for lunch, & it was a wonderful experience. The Brasserie has an on-site brewery with a number of beers, plus a store, restaurant & outside terrace. If you can't find something here you like, you're really hard to please! We stopped for lunch & I ordered the Korean-style chicken burger which is served with kim-chi, mayo, Korean BBQ sauce & fried. It was truly excellent. One of our friends ordered the smoked pulled pork sandwich & raved about it. My wife had the beet salad with hummus which she thought was good as well. The service was great, in both English & French & the choice of beer, wines & other drinks I huge. The Brasserie Dunham is a great place to stop if you're ever in the area. It's one not to be missed!

I did not have a beer, but those in the party who did raved about it. I had the beet salad. It was ordinary, but what can you do about beet salad? The humus in the salad was less than average. The fries were great except that, one of my bug bears, they were tiny. Some broken into a quarter inch. The sauce on the putine was terrific, the cheese curd only so-so. Not melted at all. The Server was a charm. She, alone, was worth the visit.
