Delicious meal & great service! We went for the "MTL à Table" experience, which was delicious! The best French food I have ever eaten in Montreal (I've lived here for 5 years). Highly recommend the boeuf bourguignon & crème brûlée. Everyone working there was very pleasant, respectful & bilingual.

Gorgeous setting facing the edge of the cathedral square. Had a great wine selection, food was delicious, & service was good. Uber dropped us off at the intersection just a few steps from the door. DEFINITELY get a reservation. This place is extremely busy but worth it.
The place was great !!! The service was IMPECCABLE !!! Ayman was such an attentive & great server !! I highly recommend you to ask for him if you go there !!!!
Ambiance cozy, personnel courtois,cuisine raffiné,prix raisonnables. Service un peu lent pour un dîner.J'aurais beaucoup aimé goûter au dessert mais j'ai manqué de temps. J'avais prévu 1 heure assis mais la cuisine à pris plus de 30min a sortir le potage di jour. La prochaine fois car c'était trop bon!

This place is amazing. The brunch here is really good. The service is on point, & the attention to detail is beautiful. Not just to the food, but also on the decor. The decor is stunning!!
Soooo disappointed. Unfortunately a large conference group invaded the restaurant/bar just after we arrived for drinks & they were so loud, my wife & I had to yell to each other across a small table. We explained the situation, he nodded in agreement then proceeded to identify a table thst was even worse. We ask about some unoccupied tables & we're told they were reserved. This was 630pm, when we left at 840pm, that group of tables was still unoccupied. Really? That really ruined the dinner all by itself & was nit accommodating at all. Server spologized again. We wanted wine & they have a good wine list but only 3 red choices & 3 white choices...really subpar. Server agreed & apologized yet again. But we made do. Half a dozen oysters & minimal condiments - again, totally unexpected. Another apology. We had lamb & fish entrees, both cold...prepared nicely but stone cold. He didn't apologize because he was no where to be found. But he did apologize when he cleared the dishes. About 20 minutes later, he reappeared & asked if we wanted dessert...by that point, we need to escape asap. We were hotel guests & that service reflected really poorly on the Hotel D'Armes. There was nothing remotely redeeming about 701.
Super bel endroit pour un souper d'affaires ou du bon temps entre amis. Excellents repas, belle déco française chic, la carte de vin pourrait être plus variée & élaborée sur les vins français. Bon rapport qualité/prix.
Lovely restaurant, great food, good atmosphere. Nice indoor ambience, lovely outdoor seating area with great views of Skyscrapers backdrop & lovely sunrise & sunset view. I had a heart experience here, short wait time, responsive & helpful staff, there waiters were very professional, polite & friendly. The meal tasted great with overall lovely presentation. The cost was also very reasonable. Highly recommend! 👌🏿
