Great professional service & pleasant dining atmosphere. We dined here during a spring week visit to Montreal & loved the Foie Gras, bouillabaisse, escargot & confit de canard.
Best wine selection 👌
We had a lovely relaxing breakfast. Milly & Adele were wonderful & the strawberry jam was the best I have ever had. Tasted like fresh strawberries!
Tout était excellent. Bonne ambiance, service impeccable. Seule la pieuvre était trop cuite.
Le service est impeccable soukaina est très serviable connaît bien le menu avec de bons choix personnalisé je recommande mille fois
Service was incredibly slow, it took 1 hour for us to get our party of three a cheese plate appetizer. Two members of our party are gluten free (celiac). We attend this restaurant because of their clear gluten free labeling on the menu.
When they first delivered our gluten free cheese plate after an hour of waiting, the order of gluten free bread looked like regular bread. We asked the server if the bread was gluten free. He said it was gluten free when we prompted him on TWO SEPARATE occasionally. However, he finally reluctantly agreed to bring it back for the chef to check. Long & behold, the bread was NOT gluten free. If we had NOT PUSHED BACK THREE TIMES, the two members of our party would have gotten very sick. Not once throughout our meal did ANYONE apologize for this mishap.
In addition the food was mediocre, the'Chicken Supreme' was dry & the other dishes were mediocre. This restaurant is not worth the hefty price tag.
We ordered the salad, duck & fish. The salad was what you expected from a salad, nothing special or noteworthy. The duck was an assault on my taste buds & we still have no idea what we put into our mouth. The fish out of everything, was the best meal we ordered that night with crispy skin & moist flavors. Service was amazing & our waitress let us sample a few wines before we settled on red. For the price I would not come back.
Stopped for lunch & the brasserie francaise looks really slick.
They had really affordable lunch menus with great options.
The calamari entrees was unfortunately fad & not'A la hauteur'. The burger was good but again not fitting the beautiful decor & service.
The glass of red wine was well suggested & excellent.
What a perfect first night in Montreal for our anniversary. Isabelle provided the most excellent service! She created just the right atmosphere for an enjoyable evening on the terrace. The food was wonderful (scallop carpaccio, duck confit, desserts!), as was the wine.
We dined here for both dinner & breakfast. The breakfast was delicious & prepared very well, no issues.
Dinner was another story. The service was not great. They forgot about our food order & we didn't receive our meal until almost 45 minutes later. My friend's shrimp meal arrived cold. My chicken dish was not delicious at all, the chicken was greasy & the weird tomato & eggplant pancake was inedible. Our server also would disappear for long periods of time. Not the greatest dinner experience.
