Had a delightful meal with a colleague. Interior was beautiful & Gavin was warm & attentive. He helped us with wine pairings & gave us tastings to be sure. Food was great & the overall experience was excellent.

Our travel group wanted to have a fine lunch while our ship was docked at Montreal. I had read about Brasserie 701 in my guidebook & in excellent reviews online. We all ordered variations of the fixed lunch menu & all were very pleased with the selections which included, mussels, mushroom gnocchi (no lamb available), fries, appetizer salad & creme brulee. The serveur was helpful & prompt. Highly recommended.
Great atmosphere & service, in addition to the fantastic food. Left extremely satisfied. The only minor drawback was the placement of some of the tables, that left us having to squeeze between other guests to get in & out.
Great place for brunch. Our server Melissa was fantastic, 5 star service. She gave us great recommendations, checked in on us often without being overbearing & had such great energy!
The environment was amazing, & the quality of the food was excellent. We ordered the salmon & steak - both were incredibly tender with a perfectly balanced taste. The sauce for the salmon was absolutely heavenly.
I also tried the Coco Fraise mocktail, which was delicious; the coconut flavor was very pronounced, & I really loved it.
We were celebrating our anniversary, & for dessert, we ordered a crème brûlée, which the restaurant kindly offered on the house. It made our experience even more special.
The staff were super kind & helpful. Despite being a busy Saturday night, the food was served quite fast.
This place was so nice, & the bartender John was awesome!
It was so nice watching him making the drinks & he was very friendly! I will definitely come back when I am in Montreal.

Merci à Nikki de qui on a reçu un excellent service. Très sympathique. Le seul bémol est qu'on aurait aimé qu'il y ait un téléviseur pour qu'on puisse regarder les finales de hockey. C'est dommage pour une brasserie de ne pas avoir de télé, sinon l'ambiance aurait recu 5 étoiles
Repas en 2 temps .. L'entrée était tres bonne mais mon repas ( Steak frites) tres decu. Je demande medium bien & finalement c'était medium rate le steak me roulait en bouche. Probablement que je ne reviendrai pas
Such a good restaurant & good service. Especially the server names Ayman, such a kind & polite helpful man. I recommend the duck plate for the person whose struggling with menu
Malheureusement je suis tombée malade après avoir mangé le déjeuner bénédictine au homard. L'endroit est joli & bon emplacement, mais je n'y retournerai pas.
